07 runnig rough

Hi all I have a 07 vmax that is spitting and sputtering when I try to maintain any speed. Doesn't do it when accelerating or at idle.

I have ran seafoam through it and changed the fuel filter. What are the pilot circuits?

check the airbox for a possible mouse nest.

i do that periodically.

another thing i wouild check is the battery terminals. a loose connection can cause those symptoms.

has the bike been sitting for a period of tim eor did theses symptoms just suddenly appear?

A pilot circuit is where you fly from KCI to LAX and back again..............

er.......uh........Ok.......never mind....bad joke.

Your pilot jets are down in the very bottom of the carbs. You can try doing a peashooter routine, or may have to do a full Shotgun proceedure to try clearing the junk outta those pilot jets. There's threads in the tech section, with great pics, on how to do both these.

If neither one works, then most likely, you will have to pull the carbs for complete cleaning.
