1994 frame-2001 frame

My new project is an unregistered 1994 1200 vmax,i was thinking of doing a nut and bolt job.I can get my hands on a 2001 frame with v5,can anyone tell me iff the frames are the same.Cheers.

Remember the change in the oil filter mounting, new engine in an old bike requires the semi-circular (new engine) cross-brace.

Not all.

As long as the cross brace matches the filter type, no problem. And they're interchangeable.

Gonna have to check that,it's a 94 engine in a 2001 frame with the semi circular brace.iv'e kept the 94 brace,if i need to swap it over.
