im still looking for a way to trailer it or put it in a pickup. Im picking up a new( new for me) vmax in ohio and driving it back to quebec. so was checking out the route and utica was a bit off the path then hooks back up. so was thinking just heading up from syracuse and think it goes thru "gov town" then up to canton. hence why looking for anyone trailing by there so i can through it in, kinda long ride and hopefully it doesnt have any bugs that i have to figure out on the way, but im sure there will be. think i got about 10-12 hrs total riding to get her home. fingers crossed for no rain...

from syr to gov and from syr to utica to gov is probably about an hour longer. much better ride tho.

thanks i'll keep that in mind as the date gets closer. was about to go pick up some el-cheepo soft saddle bags for the ride. sidewind or something like that.

Where in Ohio are you picking up the Max? If it is on the western end you have the option to hop up into Ontario and go across with the group from here too. If you come up on Thursday I can put you up in London and we can roll out on Friday to meet up with the rest of the group. I believe that the tentative plan is to ride to Ganonoque (I thinkI might have gotten close to the spelling) Friday and ride across the border on Saturday morning to meet up with the rest of the guys. The more the merrier when we hit the border LOL:biglaugh:

The 26th is the back-up date Blaine...the original plan called for the run on the 19th with the folowing weekend as a back-up...but due to the VMOA ride in Ontario we had to go to Plan "B" early on.

In peninsula which is north of akron and south of cleveland. was trying to find a ride out there to get the bike otherwise will have to fly out of toronto. on friday spend night maybe in syracuse or somewhere and meet up with the gang on sat. if your heading down from london then yo umight actually go right along my route no??? any support trucks going with you. i could be back up driver, well atleast until gov town so i can try my new bike.

Sounds good Garrett, I will be leaving Manchester around 6am. Should arrive in Utica around 8-8:30 am. I am going to run the T-Way. Fast and easy.

kickstands up @ 9, inorder to meet folks in gov by 11 ish. leaves plenty of time for a gas stop on the way up.

get there anytime after 7? gas stations are littered throughout the area, so shouldnt' be a problem.

I'm in Potsdam at school, which is about 10 miles east of Canton. By "fatbags", I assume you mean from Sergi's pizza? There's one here too.

Honestly, I don't think their pizza is all that good. The cheese is always all greasy, the pepperoni has no taste, and they're very cheap with toppings. The fat bags were good last year, but I had one the other week and it was all dough with barely anything inside. People around here say the Canton Sergi's is better though.

Hey Holeshot, you guys will be picking me up about 15 miles north of Utica in Barneveld. I'm going to trailer up there Friday afternoon, got a room in a mom & pop joint. Garrett & I are working out a good meeting spot...prolly Stewarts or something like that.

RA...we will prolly roll into Canton about noonish to noon thirty, gonna be at the park down next to the river behind the Dollar General, or Family $ or whatever that store is between the 2 bridges on Rt 11.
