Looks like my crew will be a crew of 1! :damn angry: A sad day for Canadian participation. :sad2: Any ways I'm thinking I may head out Friday and stay overnight in Prescott other wise it will a 9 hours plus day of riding roundtrip.

If you cross at Prescott you will be in Ogdensburg......

From Ogdensburg, Canton is straight down 68.....about 15 minutes.....

That's why I picked Prescott to cross at, but then I am east of Gouverneur and have to backtrack.

This being a HUGE county......all three towns are under the jurisdiction of St. Lawrence County.....But they are MILES apart.....

From Ogdensburg......you could run west on 37 and catch 58 in Morristown straight to Gouverneur:confused2:

haha well its gonna be fun either way. i'm in utica now.

meeting up with the guys tomorrow and we will have kickstands up @ 9am on saturday at the hotel, not my folks house as originally planned.

Let me see if I got this right: the Canton date gets switched from the 19th to the 26th to accomodate some canucks who say they want to ride Niagara Falls and then Canton, but decide to bail?

Just a bit disappointed about this one. Maybe next time.

Yeah, going to jail would suck but you must have known that when you asked for the change in ride dates tho? Considering your circumstances, going to jail on the 19th or the 26th would probably make little difference in whether or not you could attend the Pizza Run.

I got my shift segment replaced last night so the bike is back in order. Didn't put the clutch plates back together right the first time.....so no clutch action. Had to get the service manual and noticed the little "note" about lining up the first six plates with the two dimples, and the 7th plate with the singe dimple. Seems like the shifting is a lot "tighter" now, like there's a shorter throw almost. Neutral is easier to find than before also.

Got lucky, only one pin had fallen out, and it was lying in the little clutch cubby, hadn't dropped into the pan. Didn't strip the screw either....I used a T30 1/4" drive on an extension with a ratchet handle. It was in there pretty good, but came right out after it broke loose.

There has been a small change of venue....

We are going to the park in downtown Canton.......

Not behind the Dollar Store....

The new spot/park is right on the same route Us hwy 11.....just a little farther down.....like half a mile....if that....

You will not miss it......if you Google Earth or Google Map it you will see it easily....

They actually have picnic tables!!!!!!!!

And benches!!!!!!!

I will be posting a cellular phone # for wayward Vmaxxers to call if they get lost .......If you can find US 11 and Canton you will not miss it....
