That bends my mind, a little. That has the potential for a lot of fun at the expense of others. What kind of sidecar?

Bending minds a little is something sidecars can do. We have been bending minds for over 40 years, along with other third wheel buddies and enthusiasts.
The sidecar is a Squire RX4 suitably matched up to the Vmax. Images and stuff in a new topic soon.

I will look forward to that new topic, I like to see what others have done and keep my eyes open to different approaches.

I've never ridden with one, nor been in one, but something about seeing one on the road always makes me smile

Yes, I am reviving a 6 year old thread. Pretty brave as a new guy around here.

Has anyone (did you @Sidecarjohn) find a good way to keep noise down? I think even stock / quiet VMs are loud enough for people to notice, and I prefer to let the look and performance of my bikes tell people how badass they are. I'd like a quieter option. Has anyone found one?

Could one run a Super Trapp Megaphone with zero discs and get quieter than stock performance?

Thanks in advance to everyone. I'm looking for my first VMAX after collecting a '99 VFR800, '13 Bullet 500, and a '97 Trophy (sitting under a tarp somewhere.)

Personally, I really enjoy the raspy snarl of the OEM exhaust. But then I'm 63 and not looking for attention... I've never bought into the "Loud pipes save lives" argument, maybe they do, maybe they don't. I do believe that if we could make texting while driving a "jail-able" offense, we could save a whole lot of lives!
