I'm not a fan of Trump as many of you know, but I'm glad to hear he seems to be at least trying to resolve some of those conflicts of interest. I'm not entirely sold on that as of yet, but today's news on that is a start in the right direction.

But where I can give him credit is on the Carrier story. Sure he promised them tax breaks, but he saved American jobs. I'm fine with that. Good job Mr. Trump and Mr. Pence.

US businesses are subject to excessive regs and taxes, it's a hostile, expensive environment. So if we want to compel businesses to startup/remain in the USA and hire Americans than we have to knock off the rough edges that send them to other countries. It only makes sense. Unfortunately the liberal packaging makes it sound like huge tax breaks for the wealthy while working class continue to suffer. I think he realizes what must be done to keep as much as we can in the USA. It's more than we can say for previous administrations.

I'm no fan of Trump either but I expect that with some guidance he can probably do some good and with less damage than if things had gone the other way.

I supported Trump 100% but even I don't fully trust him yet. He's working on that. Hillary has never impressed me. I'd rather be taking a chance at a future than what Hillary's Plan was promising to continue. We may all praise Trump in 4 years as the best President ever or not. It would be hard to replace Obama as being worse than Jimmy Carter if Trump goes totally bad. I want a future for my 4 Grandchildren. Better than what I see if we continue the way we are going.

I don't know the difference between tax " breaks " and tax " relief " , and don't really care. As long as he sets an example for his administration to follow , I don't care if he does these on his own anymore. I see someone who knows what the problems for the country are and either has a plan or is willing to appoint the right people to come up with a plan to help the country put more people back to work , reduce taxes for all , corporations and the wealthy , strengthen the military , enforce the borders and get rid of crazy stifling regulations ( OBamacare , E.P.A. , etc. ) .
