The Royal Venture 1986 have a faux-tank that is not a faux-tank,
in fact it looks like a flat-top cover because the original fairing cover all the side of it,
so the mod-monkey:rofl_200: took a HD tank schroud and did wat he can,
job is not finished yet.
still have finition and enclose the Vmax cluster

told myself that the faux-tank would be finished t the end of February:ummm: i`l be on time:eusa_dance:

This is the uper braket (wich have rubber)
i did cut the bushing from original brkt,
then i made from 16g. satin coated steel plate, a brkt going from speedo mounting screews to the original spot brkt position.
the bending was easy,
after then, i weld the bushign at the cross center (after welding the three parts together, it became stiff `n` strong)

Now, the spot is little to hight; will have to cut welding and lower it (the try`n`error part of it)

next step will be the lower brkt, that i will do with alluminium

As you can see, i did raise the raiser for 2 5/8`` (that is another storry :biglaugh:)

hope it did help:ummm:
