Mossberg for the shotgun. they are great guns.Ive used em bird hunting. The pistol is wide open. My buddy has a nice Springfield Armory 40 cal. with a laser/flashlight on it. nice gun. Really built well. Glocks are great too. I had a Ruger P90 45 that was acurate as hell. big grip but i got short fingers and it fit well. solid shooter never jammed. Id buy higher end Springfield, Glock, etc... you get what you pay for in pistols. in my opinion. which is drunk right now so.....

You do get your moneys worth in the semi auto pistols. I know, I bought a low end one and dont like so much, but she is my goto girl! :gun shoot:

I doubt they ship to Canada, or more likely Canada won't let them. I'd like to own some handguns, but the restrictions here are too tight to make it possible.

Went to Gander Mountain today, they had Glocks for $599, they are by far not the cheapest,. but it gives you and idea what they cost here.

What is bump firing?

I'll do my best here. It's when you hold the rifle, like an AR, lightly to your shoulder n lightly squeeze the trigger. With the kick back of the round going off, and the 'loose' pressure against the trigger and shoulder, a good 'bump firer' can get a semi auto to sound next to a full auto. I've seen some good ones.

I seen Kimber was mentioned. I prefer the 1911. Never shot a Kimber, but held one in my hand. What a difference!!! One of my 45's is a Norinco. I seldom shoot it. They are a well made 45. CZ52, tough, fast rd. Ammo is cheap for corrosive., bout 8 bucks for 70, Yugo. 15-1700 fps out the pipe. Can penetrate helmets. Got a couple dbl bbl's and an old High Standard sheriff's dept riot gun. I prefer the 7.62x39 for suburban areas. 39 in steel core is a great penetrator. I like the SK over the AK, for accuracy n range. Tapco makes some great SK 20 rd true detachables for 15 bucks. For the rural areas, I'm picking up an 8mm Mauser w/ a composite stock. I have a 4x16x80 scope for it. I call it the Hubble. I have the 54r n 06, but I do better with the 8. All three are competitive rds.

My best friend and I bought shotguns many, many years ago. His was a Mossberg 500, mine was a Winchester 1300 Defender. Both had 20 inch barrels, both had tactical stocks, and grips. If I had to do it over, I would have the Mossberg over the Winchester. Shooting both guns with the same ammo, the 1300 kicks ALOT harder than the Mossberg did. The shotgun I want now is a Berreta Extrema II semi auto. It is bad ass.

As far as pistols I am a fan of .45 ACP 1911 kimber models glocks are fine but after doing lots of shooting I would take a kimber over any other pistol period.unk:
This is what I use see pics. I dont claim to be an expert but 30 years of shooting counts for something I suppose .:hmmm:

A Kimber, most notably their 1911 variants are more like custom guns rather than production guns. Their actions tend to be tighter, smoother and generally more accurate than a production pistol like a Glock or Beretta.

I was told by a dealer by St. Louis that when Colt started to lax on their quality, some QC inspectors and workers left to start Kimber. It's weird and hard to explain the quality of the gun felt by just holding it in your hand.

Kimber make 1911 (and other types of guns) and do it better than anybody period. If you ever get a chance to use one do it you will see the results on paper and when you hold it they feel awsome. You can have trigger pulls set most are at 3-4 pounds but the real differance is when you pull the trigger it breaks clean no snaps no hold ups ( This is where on paper matters). to put it best most compation shooters use them. Besides when you really need your gun dont you really want the best no some fad or second rate weapon.
