That surely doesnt sound like good customer service to me and I'd think twice before purchasing from this vendor!

I agree, with all that has transpired, he will not get any more of my business. I've had mine for 3 years w/o issue although now I have a wiring short now. Every time I turn the handlebars it flashes on. I am going to take it off and try to fix the wiring issue.
There are several units out there that should give good results; Speed Hut, Raptor, and probably a few more that I cannot remember at this time.

If you want a totally waterproof LED progressive shift light, check out my latest posting here:

I love it!!!
I have the waterproof model that Harlan offers (99% sure) so I am not ahaving a water related issue. I'm pretty sure it is a bad solder connection or a broken wire from movement.
I really like the curved unit that you recently posted Michael, I'll take a serious look at it if I cannot rectify the issue with my Harlan. I'll be checking it out at Thunder for sure!:punk:

no luck here either, i think i'll file a paypal complaint soon maybe, not sure if 'warranty service' is something they deal with.

that progressive one is amazing.

fuck paypal will only dispute 45 days from purchase, i purchased on 3/15.

It figures. Everybody loves em' till I buy one, then they go to shit!! On a side note, I got mine installed and it seems to work great......and I know, someones gonna say it...."just wait"!

i give up. gonna save up for the curved one now.
