No problem! I’m new to the forum, it was harder to get the pictures posted than it was to take them. They are great bikes!

Congrats on your new purchase of your generation 2. I picked up my new to me 2010 in November of last year. Took it on my first extended trip 2 weeks ago. It was a 6 day, 1820 mile trip to the NC mountains. This is the most amazing bike that I have ever owned. Last week, I got the 240 wide wheel kit installed after getting back from my trip and seeing a 1" wide streak of metal exposed the entire circumference of the rear tire. I haven't had a chance to take it out since the new tire install, but I can hardly wait.

That's a good idea lol. They ain't very happy after they fall off the back lol. I got the rack to hold my tail bag. For some reason having the tach/speedometer exposed is just not very pleasing to my eyes, and I thought the touring fly screen was just awful looking. I like the look of the stock mufflers, just got to find a cat delete that will allow me keep them. If you take it to the dealer for the 1st service, make sure they change the diff fluid with the correct fluid type, it's the same as the fjr1300? If I remember correctly. I heard most dealers don't stock it, and just use the other fluid. I heard we need the type with an anti foaming agent. I took mine in for it, they just changed the oil and filter. I did the diff fluid, I got Lucas synthetic 75w-90 GL5. The dealer I went to said they only seen 2 or 3 vmaxs come and go.
The bag & back rest look real good. The fly screen looks great. I've been searching for a 2 up set up & this is a fantastic start! Maybe some smaller saddle bags for fuel. Badass looking bike!

Thanks!!! I'll get to modding it eventually. Been busy trying to catch up on vehicle maintenance, and life, lol. I've been thinking of trying to mix in some florescent green with the matte Raven black........... Or maybe some plum purple because I'm a Mopar guy. If I go with the green, I think I'll name it Zeus, because of the black/green robot from real steel, haha.

Rebal, can you let me know where you got the front screen and backrest at? I’m going to pick up my new 18 tomorrow and really like the look of them, plus don’t want the wife falling off!

Bought mine at the dealer when I made the down payment for the bike. Paid separate as to not drive the price up, and I couldn't see making payments on accessories lol. They are expensive, but I wanted new for my new Vmax. Installed them myself.
