ok i dont no where to ask this ?................... what is a vmax motor worth 2nd gear is bad:confused2:. i think it a 92 with 15000 miles on it not sure tho. thanks to all. billunk:

here in greece it would be arround 500 euros cause the engine should be opened to fix the 2nd gear if someone need an engine, i bought one when i was rebuilding mine with a 2nd bad gear for 700 euros before 2 years.

Not all that much considering a trans rebuild. Typically I give $500 trade in when building another engine for customers.

Motors are on Ebay (Pinwall Cycle) used for around $1500, who knows if 2nd gear is good or not tho' assuming it is then about $500 for a "known" bad 2nd gear motor is probably about right.........Pay someone else to pull your motor and to fix your second gear and it'll be at least $1k
