Typicalyy i never winerizing my bike, theres always good weather to ride unless its snowy or rainy :rofl_200:

This will be awesome :worthy:

Part of the reason you are rubbing is the front end is sitting lower then stock and I think the rear is lower from the aftermarket tire/wheel size. It's a very nice looking bike for sure.

Yeah, its definiltly lookg very well but IMO front is to low so any exhaust will fix his grinding problem.

Im almost done my front zx10r setup with 120mm fork extensions so bike will be lowered about still 85mm and its max here. Hes bike is lowered more then 150mm and its to low. He need new trees or fork extensions.

Really a nice setup.
I'm sometimes thinking if I will push into the chroming of my stock mags.
But I guess, it won't be easy for me to have it done here.
Might be safer to stay quiet :)

Yes the bike is looking cool but I guess the lowering is the price I have to pay :)
How ever the fork is stretched as far as it can be ( something like 4 cm. ) and it is not enough so I plan on cold days that is coming to find out a place here in Sofia or near where to create that upper tree :

Top

Bottom

front

back

The idea is to put the bike up like it was with OEM wheels and suspension and to have space to put Kawasaki ZX14 OEM handles and get rid f that handle bar I am using now

for the back side I am thinking of some adjustable rear shocks or for some brackets to raise the back

PS. what is IMO ?

Check cycleonoff, Tom have really nice stuff there. Im machinig my own trees
but they will look quite diffrent couse im using fork extensions.

I like pretty well stock handle bar and its brackets but i like you idea also.
You may try to put drag bar, it will help a lot.

InMyOpinion and somethimes InMyHumbleOpinion ;)

A little update about the Koso's RX2N meter I am using.
After 2 units' that gives same defect , EOBD and OIL light flushing after several days without been connected to the bike wiring at all and the problem with non properly working tachometer on V-Max 1200 .
The guys from Koso Taiwan send me third up grated meter RX2N+ (plus) with different CPU and software , finally RPM working fine no issues at all.

here is a poor video of moment after I connect it :

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=62ug9vJXdJ0

and one after the bike was assembled :

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rCLSYFZOIpQ

I still have not connect the Oil and EOBD lights ( the orange and violet wires on first video that are issolated at the end ) these two red lights are still on the genuine dash board .
This is because the Koso meter needs a negative signal to it Oil ware
and since v-Max don't have EOBD light I want to connect there fuel warning light but I am not shore how to do this and I don't want to damage the unit during some experiments .

Can some body from here that is well familiar with max wiring and way of working to these two lights help me find a solution.

here is Koso's wiring installation instruction :

http://img5.imageshack.us/img5/2821/kosowiringinstruction.jpg

and here is v-max wiring diagram, I out some colors on top of it :

http://img193.imageshack.us/img193/8651/vmx12colorwiring.jpg

The point is that Koso needs Negative for it oil light and a positive for EOBD light.
I want to connect max's fuel light to Koso EOBD light but because of the other time they flashing , when starting the engine a am litle confused to which wire to connect Koso's wires .
I think I will have to remove genuine bulbs from genuine dash to prevent errors like wneh connecting the turn signals - with genuine bulb , Koso meter was showing both sides no meter wish turn signal is on .

other thing :
thanks to this thread :

I am ready with 2005 kawasaki 636 COPs to replace my oem these days :)

thanks to dannymax & naughtyG for good explanations

I'm debating on one of these. Sounds problematic though. But, they do look cool.

How did you end up getting the tach to work? 2 cylinder setting via induction (wrapping the pickup wire) or did you tap into a coil, or did you use the grey tach wire?

As far as the oil light goes I would *think* (sometimes a bad thing) that you could use a single pole, single throw relay. The 12V that would normally power up the oil light could go to the relay coil and the ground wire that you need for the new oil light would go on a normally closed (when energized) contact. That way, the electrical path between ground and the new light would not exist until the relay is powered by the old oil light wire. Maybe??

Any additional input on how everything worked would be great. If you wouldn't mind sharing your dwg for the mounting bracket, that would be cool. Any photos from the front of the bike looking at the gauge? I have yet to see a front on view of one of these mounted on the max.

Well the tacho is working fine now . Almost perfect , Almost because it
has a small delay in comparison with OEM Tacho . but it is not a
problem.

When I ride the bike easy it does not have a delay what so ever and it

show exactly the same RPM like the OEM , but if I twist the
throttle fast
then the unit have some little delay but I get use to it and it does
not
bothers me.

Decide to leave the Oil and Fuel Lights on their original places so I

don't use KOSO's Fuel and EOBD light.

Over all I am happy with that unit the thermometer is
working very
accurate soon will connect the Oil temp sensor and don't expect any
problems with it .

Hope that this answer if you need something more
don't hesitate to as
will help with what I can

Almost forgot :

Connect the RPM wire to the negative of the back left cylinder . I use

the Type B
connector from KOSO pack and about the setting have to go to
the garage to check what was it exactly , don't remember right now and
don't want to confuse you
