Odd CL ad (gen 2 motor in gen 1 frame)

Other than the "WOW" factor of doing this, I have a hard time seeing any real advantage to running a 2nd Gen motor, when you can build a 1st Gen motor up to just about match.

You can, I have one that's close. But I don't trust the long term reliability of it near as much as a Gen II motor...

Ok, that would be another reason to use the 2nd Gen motor. Question is though, how difficult would it be to get it into the 1st Gen frame and bolted up?

Anything can be done with Time and money....it all comes down to whether or not its feasible.

From having both here it's not practically feasible or worth the effort that would be required. The engine is simply too large on the gen 2.

The picture that I posted was a photoshop job, the g2 motor is much bigger than what was depicted as the "new Vmax" back in '08-'09.
