Yes + fork oilGood prices is this all I would need?
Without wishing to state the obvious it will depend on your ability but yes, it is a relatively easy job to do.How difficult is it to do myself or are there places I could go to have it done if I buy the parts?
The majority of time is taken by dismantling to get the fork tubes out. Once done the only awkward part is loosening the fastener at the bottom of the fork.
The later damper rod doesn't have a hexagon which can be used to lock it in place. Trot down to your local friendly mechanic and as if they will use their air gun to unscrew it.
I'm sure there are shops that will do the job but as I have indicated, it is well within the scope of the average home mechanic.
Can't say as I've never tried to use a repair shop for this job.Is race tech a brand that is serviced at most major bike repair shops? Never hear for used them before but trust your recommendations!
I have the Racetech springs and emulators on my bike and once the static sag is set (you must do this!) I can't fault them.
