Overly high fuel consumption

Hey guys, follow up/update here:

The clips were in the middle (I think slot 3 of 6), and I bumped them up 1 slot each. My mileage increased 40%! Fuel light would come on at around 100kms and now I can get to around 140kms before it comes on.

My question now is, what happens if I go another slot up? Am I losing horsepower? Bike was running great before and after moving the clips. Read the balance before and after and it stayed the same. Am I risking anything by going another notch up?

read your plugs, your leaning out your bike by moving the clips I've heard it's hard to run a v-max too lean but your plugs should tell the story

That was easy, I have the 175's installed

Ok, you found your problem..DJ 175 = MK 165, very big jet, almost always useless.

The DJ165 will be far better.
