All right boys, I'm new here but I've been lurking plenty and learning all I can about these Vmaxs we ride. I'm curious about what y'all do when you aren't riding though.
I've been mechanically inclined my whole life so bikes and cars have always come naturally to me. I love taking things apart so I can see what makes them tick, and putting them back together better than they were before. I bought myself a toy when I returned from Iraq in 2007 and it's been a fun little money pit. It's a 1991 Mustang LX I've slowly been building into a fun street car. It had a carb swapped cam only 5.0 with a 5 speed in it when I picked it up. Since then, I've changed the stick out for a built, stalled 3 speed auto, put adjustable suspension at all 4 corners, done a little chassis stiffening via a set of subframe connectors, and bought a NX plate kit for a little extra since I still have factory cast iron heads, along with a ton of other nickel and dime stuff that isn't particularly noteworthy.
Here's the car the last time I went racing back in August. It's a 7.20 pass at 92.4 mph. R/T is nothing to write home about since the instant green is a little tricky, but I'm pretty proud of the 1.51 60', especially on stock 28 spline axle shafts.

I apologize about the terrible sound quality. I blame it on the way my cameraman was holding the phone.
