u guys helped a lot.. i left a hair dryer on it (don't have a heat gun of mine yet) for a few mins, sprayed some WD-40 under it and it popped right off. very easy.. put some hairspray on the inside (like handlebar grips) and put it back on the nonbent one and its now on securely... will put it back on the bike when i get a chance...
i'd say the hardest part of allof it was getting the notched lever that goes on the shift shaft itself off...
also on the nonbent pedal for some reason someone had jamed some threaded tube in there that didn't fit. i was worried it was stripped but the OEM rod went right in...
