IMO i would do like Todd said open with 4900 and go from there i know you mentioned you don't like the flames but that can be changed and i wouldn't be too turned off by the lack of miles as long as the carbs are clean and in good working order maybe throw some light down in the tank and look for rust, ask about fluid changes, i change all the fluids on all used vehicles i buy anyway just so i know when they have been done, looks like a good bike, i would buy it for the right price.

So does the weep of oil scare anyone? Looks like Yamaha took care of it under the TSB- but should I be concerned? At 1548 miles this bike is basically new- but 8 years old. I'm not sure if I should be viewing this as a good opportunity on an extremely low mile bike; or a potential problem.

Well things are looking good. I've got a negotiated deal on the '07!
