You know why he didn't acknowledge you? He had to concentrate with all his might just to stay upright while riding such a ridiculous setup. That plus is neck was all cramped up from being held firmly by his shoulders.

Perhaps something was stuck firmly up his arse ?

It seems odd to me that there's such a firm hatred for Harley riders. Several of my best friends ride Harley's, and although I endlessly poke fun at the Harley world to annoy them, they are some of the best people I know. They'll do anything for anybody, and are constantly doing benefits for the fallen, etc. if the folks on Harley's, and the folks on everything else, would just take a step back and realize how stupid and pointless the rivalry is, everybody would own a jap bike and be awesome! Jk! It's just a difference in style. It's like hating someone for wearing a polo shirt when you prefer a t-shirt. Both sides are guilty. It's bikism (the 2 wheel, mechanical version of racism).

I personally love all motorcycles (Harleys included). No hatred here. It's just fun to poke at the "if it aint' American, it aint' ****" attitude a little.

Umm, so by definition then; "If it is American it is ****" ?

It's fun to rib friends about bikes. I was ribbing a good friend of the family last week when he came up here to visit. He has one of the nicest Harley's that I've seen. He trucks bikes in the lower 48, so every once in a while I get some pictures of some nice machines. Anyway, back in the late 80's he bought a Heritage Special 650. He had a couple of close calls and it scared the hell out of him, so he got rid of it. He was telling me about his Harley and I told him that it was good to see him get back on a bike. Then I told him that "It was smart to get a bike slower than the 650, safety first". It took a couple of seconds to set in, but his reaction was pretty funny.
