"what if badmax is right about all this publicity...

everyone talks crap about china made stuff but theyre busting record profits"

----Mattness

words of wisdom gentelmen... are you guys going to bill jon or is all this publicity for ufo FREE?

remind me to start a business and piss someone off around here..lol... better deal than a banner ad..

This is not the kind of publicity a legitimate business wants or needs. If you are a movie star , yes I agree , good or bad publicity will work for you.

If after all this info has been digested , and you still want to take a chance with UFO , it's your $ and your right to do so. Me , not so much.

Well i agree China products are Cheap and most of us dont have a choice when we purchase because today you cant goto the store and buy a USA product also UFO products are not cheap, and do not perform as described of course you have to translate the 3rd person description of his products. So will this hurt UFO i hope so, I cant stand vendor who will step on there own mother to make the almighty dollar.

I agree, the only reason China is making profits is because they are paying the workers $1 per day and selling the products far cheaper then products made anywhere else. Price will drive sales (supply/demand) even if the parts are junk. Take harbor freight for instance. Most of what they sell is junk. BUT, it's so cheap you can just pitch the crap when it breaks and get another item.

UFO's products on the other hand aren't that much cheaper (if at all) than stuff found elsewhere. It doesn't perform that much better (like his Vgas vs PCW flats or even my carbs and jet kit). It isn't that much prettier. Not all of his products are junk (he doesn't make everything he sells - just like most vendors, myself include, don't).

BUT, he has very poor customer service after the sale. I'm sure it's great before and during the sale. BUT, when there is a problem he hides better then jews from a Nazi patrol (no offense to the jews). This thread and discussion will hurt his sales more then it will help it I am sure.

Tim's comments so far have simply been matter of fact and in my opinion do nothing to detract from him. He's pointed out his claims, backed them up pictures, and he may even be able to post up some numbers to prove his point. I personally don't even need the numbers. Just off of the support gives Jon after the sale is enough for me to not need anything he has.

He likes to attack me whenever possible, call names and infer he's a super vmax man. Go ahead and let him. I personally think his HP claims are bogus, his claim to being the most powerful this and that are bogus.

Jon,
If you or one of your lackeys is reading this. Here's the challenge:
Let's send in some of your parts for testing, Gen 1 and Gen 2, to someone that is impartial to either of us. Find a dyno facility and a local bike. Install our products back to back on the same machine and see just what they do.

There is an excellent facility in Topeka Ks that we use each year for a dyno event and gathering. We can bring the pipes, carbs, ect... and each have our turn with a bike. I can either find a bike or we can ask the general membership.

I'd even consider flying in somewhere to wrench and install parts.

We had started trying to do some testing with another member but there were some personal issues he had and couldn't finish up. So, all the testing isn't worth anything since it won't be testing on the same bike.

Perhaps this summer I can proceed again on my own and try again. I am sure you won't believe the info we get without you being there but I think my reputation will be enough for most guys here. The reason I would like you present is so that you'll be obligated to remove the verbiage from your ads about having the most powerful this and that. That way if you don't maybe we can move forward with the false advertising claims.

Again, not being hateful. Just simply a fair and independent comparison of the products.

Sean

Sean i dont think he will come to you for a challenge but why not both of you come into Thunder in the Valley this year where there is one of the largest gathering of vmaxs ,rent a dyno and make a shootout event. This way many members can see and hear both of your products perform and either boost your sales or you know. JIM

Thunder would be ok but not sure what the dyno availability would be or cost. I know I can get the Topeka place on a Sunday like our dyno event you attended. Super nice facility and not too bad a price ($400 for the day). Most places would charge considerably more.

Sean

I just talked to AJs racing in tyrone pa i can rent his dyno all day for $500 for thunder in the valley so im going to post this on the other site to see what kind of response i get.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances I will be at Thunder and would have no problem throwing some $$ out to help with the cost. Might be something we can set up with the guys for sure.

Good Luck getting Jon Cornell there! , he was asked yrs. ago to attend Thunder and said he was unable to do so because it is racing season and he needs to make money for himself. Hell a bunch of us were willing to pay for his room but he still said NO!. He is to busy with products and racing. Later K.C.

Well he may be busy with racing not to sure how busy he will be with products after this thread. JIM

exactly how does a guy make money racing.... in my experience its a great way to spend money..not make it..

I agree, he's going to be the one guy making money racing. I think he just uses that as an excuse to cover up his poor customer service. I wonder if he can post a race "schedule" so we can see where he's racing at and when. Virtually all race series have schedules plus we can even see how he's doing.

Sean

Ok so as I conintue to read this thread I cant help but come by the following observations...

1) Sean Morley is great. Great guy to deal with and always willing to answer my questions regardless of how stupid they are...Anytime I need something in the future I'm calling Sean.

2) Cornell has sounded like an ******* from the start, always arrogant, always quick to bash others..Would never do business with him based on what I've read.

3) Tim, seems like you have associated with Jon for quite some time. If you infact thought he was the **** you now say he is, why didnt you see this long time ago..After all ,your website as I had pointed out, indicated he was a vendor you supported. Now all of a sudden this had changed. To me I would have expected that you would have figured out he was a **** along time ago based on how he's treated people in the past but for some reason you've decided to hang with him for whatever reason..So I have to say, as an outside party not knowing either you or Jon, seems a little odd how you've changed your tune regarding Jon..Just an observation...

im also curious as to why you stuck with him for so long but, id say jon probably flattered him with his vmax knowledge and made him feel good and of course theyd be friends early on because they both like vmaxes.

you cant say there arent bad influences in your life or someone that uses you?

kind of like that girl in high school that always had you drive her and her guy friends around even though she had a boyfriend.. or made you buy her things-- all because you thought it cold turn into something but just didnt..

you got used

you just have to remember that there are bad people out there, a lot of bad people. bad people get rich from using good people. theres only one way to get to the top, and thats on everyone else's backs

Not true....while using other folks as stepping stones is undoubtedly the easiest, and most often used method of getting to the top, it is not the only way.

There are a couple other, less used, paths. :punk:

Amen Danny! and that path does'nt lead through china!

Rather than keep you folks waiting any longer, tonight I will put all of my cards on the table. I do not want to keep dragging this out so after this, I hold nothing of major value in reserve. The one thing I can assure you is after I post this, it will be far from over.

I was typing a response to his first e-mail to me when his first post poped up. What I posted was my response to the e-mail, therefore, I never really formed a rebuttal to the post. Here is his post:

?Good 'ol Vmaxforum.net. Home to Sean Morley and the latest *******. Tim Nash, the little self serving ***** that is still crying because I was the first one to make an 8 second pass. Trying to demerit me anyway he can now. Anyone who would self-proclaim themselves as a "GURU" I should have been suspect of. Perhaps I will return the favor and post the Gary Glisson dyno charts showing the horrific mapping he put into the "reflashed" ECU and the map he put into the Power Commander to the point I could not even make a clean pull on the dyno. This is the dragbike that was up on ebay for sale that sold for 10K. That nitrous bike made 125 hp when I bought it from Gary with the "Nash 2nup" on it. I have since sorted it and guess what ? It is the one on my website that makes 282 hp with 174 # torque. Some Fricken Guru !?

My point can be found nestled in my e-mail to Gary Glisson:

Subject: I'm being slandered.

Gary,

Jon Cornell has taken the liberty of slandering me on some of the forums. If you don't mind, I need to ask a few questions of you. The first question is in reference to your old PCV. I know all I did was troubleshoot the TPS problem. I wanted to make sure you did not tell him I had anything to do with the tuning of the PCV on your former bike?
I also wanted to make sure you never told him I tuned your ECU to do anything but fully open the YCC-T and normalize & ****** the ignition timing so it would not detonate while burning the amount of NOS you wanted to add.
Did Jon ever supply you with a new rear merge collector when he found them to be the problem with the BattleStar pipe design?
It's about to get sticky as I will not idly stand by and let someone I helped so much attempt to soil my reputation out of shear bitterness. I know I did not do these things he is posting, but I can't be sure of what he was told until I ask you. I hate to put you on the spot, but I need to know the truth. Your answer may be used in a civil case. I appreciate your time.

Tim Nash

Hi Tim, Sounds Bad!!

I told him you fixed the TPS sensor problem by adding a ground. I did the tuning on the Power Commander. He told me it was rich and that?s why it didn't make the power it should, but I knew it was rich, with no time to get on the dyno at work I couldn't take the chance on blowing the thing up.
On the ECU, I told him you programed the box to open the butterflies wide open on launch and to follow the throttle and also told him the timing was ******** for the nitrous.
I saw on the site where he made 281.5 hp with my bike he said the ECU was so screwed up that when he had the bike on the dyno the bike went into default at 6000 rpm. I told him the bike had not been ran since the reflash, (when he bought it) because I couldn't make back to the track because of work. He said that?s ok.

He did tell me he had to take the ECU to one off his car racing guys to have it reflashed again with his program.

I've tried to e-mail him several times to see how my old bike was coming along and how he did at the track, a big race he was going to run the bike at but I guess he's ticked off at me because he never return my e-mails. He's pretty much quit talking to me. I guess and that?s just me talking, he may just be busy with his business.

No I didn't get a new collector for the pipe.

He got a hell of a deal on the bike I had over 25 grand in it and he got it for 9000.00. Wish I could have kept it but ***REMOVED to keep his personal information private*******

That?s about all I know. Keep me informed on how things are going.

Thanks,
Gary

Gary,

This would be just what I need to clear my name. You mind if I post all or parts of this?

No problem Tim. Its? the truth!

I will let you draw your own conclusions.

The additional point I wanted to make prior to collecting this e-mail from Gary was about his bike. What is the first thing you do when you buy an all-out DragBike wherein the former owner laid down a large sum of money to purchase an Ultra-Fast Objects Performance Products BattleStar 4 into 1 full race exhaust system? Well if you are Jon Cornell of UFO, you fix it so it works:

Close up:

This was a rare spectacle. It was a relationship built in the public eye and it ended up being destroyed in the public eye. I am not being cynical when I say it seems to be fitting bookends. Hopefully there is an education in this. I take absolutely no pleasure in watching an old friend be devoured by the hounds formed of his ill will, but that is what happens when you outrun or offend your support.

The intent was to inform you of probable ?Bait and Switch?. I don?t think it?s a responsible choice to tell anyone alerting you to or suffering from a raw deal their complaint will find no purchase here in this forum. Sometimes negativity serves a purpose. I take issue with those that would admonish me for an argumentative thread, within it. It?s hypocritical. If you care to practice what you preach, my PM box is open.

I knew there would be backlash from this public dissolution of a friendship. I knew there would be questions. I get to watch as people say they would not buy anything from the ?VMaxGuru? because I lowered myself to Jon?s level. Well, I hate to tell you this, but if you visit that website, you will not find anything for sale there. You will find a year?s worth of my hobby laid out in finite detail. You will also find dyno results that have been duplicated time and time again. Regardless of my association with Jon, everything I posted to that site and corresponded via hundreds of e-mail, I believe to be the truth.
