Great price! KJ....leaves more room for monkey madness:biglaugh:

I was hoping to get it for a little over $8k, but I was happy with the deal. it turned out to be some change over $10k with the licensing and registration.

I bought a 2000 in 8/11 for $3800 with about 16000 mi. Only mod is drag bars other than that it needs new back tire. Avg. condition.

well, i got my 2007 used at the end of May 2009 with 1412 kms. (900 mi) for $8600 cdn. it had forward controls and a morley cut down seat. it was TOO MUCH bike the guy said. so when i went to pick it up he was piping an aftermarket exhaust onto his new M109R. lol.

mods ive done are below in my sig

i broke 2nd gear with the DDmod so that came out when i put the new 2nd gear in. power wheelies in 2nd at 40 mph were fun but soooo hard on the bike. was racing an r1 at the time the gear went. i lost. i was gonna loose anyway but i love the convo after at the suprise that i was right there with them or had them for the first 5 - 600 feet.

the bike presently has 13600 kms, ridden hard its whole life, but i believe maintenence is key. oil changes every 2500 kms. (usually with the rear tire) Maintain the bike properly itll be good to you.

oh yea, the guy bought the bike for $13500 cdn taxes in or so, ill have to look as i got the original bill of sale. pictures are of a few days after i got it...

peace,
evan...

Yep, the very same bike. I am currently writing up a story on the transition of Toxic from stock to custom. Up to 2 pages so far and I haven't even begun the serious mods yet!! As for money invested, well, we don't talk about those things:biglaugh: Enough to say I do a lot of horse trading and get some very, very good prices from a couple of vendors I deal with. Helps that the bike is fairly famous.

New 86 cost me $4,800 in Dayton, OH and had them throw in a 200$ windscreen to boot. Sold it three years later to my Bro for $2,800. Got a chromed out 85 basket case for $800 with all fresh chromed front end, scoops, grab bar. No wheels, no exhaust in Sevierville TN in 08. 1990 bought in 07 for $5k with more mods than I have time to list plus tons of extra parts thrown in plus reciepts for 17k in mods/upgrades. Powdercoated everywhere, Kerker 4-2-1, R1 brakes, braided hoses, billet risers, 03 front end with billet fork brace, radials, factory luggage rack/sissy bar, leather covered faux tank, Piaa driving lights, big headlight w/ 80/100 watt bulb, Starfighter seat, drag bars, Kuryakyn everything, oil pressure gauge on handle bars, bar snake, forward controls, custom radiator cover, LEDS in scoops and brake light, side mount license plate w/LEDS, rotor lock, alarm, Koso digital speedo and head work. Plus whatever I forgot. Purchased in Tampa FL It was a 7.5 out of 10 condition wise. Will list my 85 drag bike another day.

Mine is 1993 with 38,000 miles a K and N filter ,two brothers racing exhaust and A jet kit and I paid 2,600 for her.

2000 VMax with 15521 miles purchased for 2500 on 9/24/2011. She is pretty much stock with a fan switch(doesn't work) and a V-Boost switch (need to test the switch, not sure if it is a 3000/6000 or a on/off).
