I drained the coolant from my new to me '94 (original coolant) preparing to replace all the rubber hoses. Installed the Morley jet kit.

Oh great! another black Vmax for the Brownie Run, I'm going to stand out like a sore thumb and the only one that the cops will be looking for! Nah, they'll never catch me anyways, so no need to worry!

garrett this is the second set, i did V2 last year, blacked grab bar/shifter/brake/fly screen. now doing all the same to V1 here in whitehorse. I got another little black accent im getting done for V2. you will have to wait til BR2011 to see the results, think it will look cool.

brian its just that garretts MM hasent overcome your red monkey hahahah

Havent started my bike since week after xmas.....turned a few times then clicked at me laughing. Damn, just got this new battery last year, a wet cell, and kept on a tender...like WTF? Jumped her and rode it 20 minutes. Turns over just fine now. Perhaps the cold engine was a strain for a stock battery? Starts now :)

Guess I need to get a battery hydrometer to test the cells. If this ones dead, going to a dry or gel cell!

on a tender should have no issues i'd def return it while its still in warranty. also just spend the cash and get an odyssey

what did you use?

i used krylon fusion semi gloss black on the back of the plastic screen, this way the front would be glossy but opaque, i used duplicolor "shadow" on the polished aluminum front thing but i put 3 coats and should have only put 2 coats. then it gives you a clear top coat to put on after, man it came out real glossy and smooth, the kit makes chrome and polished metals look like black chrome

very nicely done, i used fusion on the backside too but flat black. that paint is really quite good i like it. i did 3 coats and 3 clearcoats of flat.

i put a little rubber nub so my shift light doesn't wear the paint out. very nicely done!

I'd go with you but Still doing the Hospital thing for my Mom...

Have a safe and enjoyable time....

Replaced my stator again, got my wheel back from sean with it freshly chrome plated, no more hours of polishing that sucker again...beautiful job by the way with pics to follow once installed.

just got my hac backrest powder coated black.

dropped off my new bellypan, fenders, headlight, and faux cover to the painter, should be ready next week.

Filled it up with oil and started it for the first time since november. sitting in that cold shed all winter, it fired up as soon as i hit the button :clapping:

Now put everything back together next week and i should be golden!

i painted my front and rear fenders, i wanted Sean to do it but running out of $$$$ ! just laqour universal black metallic with clear coat 2 more days and then wet sand with 2000 grit then rub! also did the led light thing in blue thanks i yhink to coprunner ?

I took a quick ride on my '89 for the last time. If all goes well, it'll be sold tomorrow afternoon. She was a great bike. I had her 15 years. It was my first and only bike!

Here's a pic of the new horse.
