Install blue cap ends on me lower rear shock bolts. And use blue tape and 2 black "O" rings for the nut. I use red vacuum plugs for my brake bleed screws...

The blue caps came from a socket kit holder... that holds 6 sockets - I cut the blue holders off and used them on the bike.

And installing a new gas tank....

Installed my Trail Tech Vector, it works great !!
I reused most of the dash lights and wiring for the Fuel/Oil/Neutral/High beam lights, the speedo has it's own cable down to a magnet on the front disc, the thermometer that came as part of an in-line unit that is spliced into a coolant hose had the same thread and depth as the Vmax thermometer (easy swap), the tach was all over the place when I first wired it but then I put in a 10K ohm resistor which sorted it out

Next job is to tidy up the surround a bit and make it look like it was meant to fit a Vmax

That's a sweet set up. Did you buy it from them or ebay? How hard to set it up.....

Didn't do anything to the bike other than ride. Nice and sunny out.
I did pick up a Sylvanya Silverstar Ultra headlight bulb for Woona though. Will have to put it in in a bit. Gotta like having an H4 bulb that draws stock power, but is about twice as bright!

Put together the female side of the adapters (from Gannon) for my new gauges. Hope to get them on and tested by the end of the weekend. Then I gotta work on a bracket.

buffed out the paint and put the bodywork back on the archangel. I'm liking the darker red. This makes 3 paint jobs in under 6 months, I'm done for now. Put in the rebuilt stator, 13.5 at idle and 14.4 at 2k :)

Took it for a little spin in the sunny 84deg weather and relaxed for a bit. Now its time to start the bracketry for the new headlight set up.

Yeah, bought it of eBay.
Wiring was easy enough, 2 for power, 2 for temp, 2 for speedo and 2 for tach
the lights on either side were brought straight from the old setup

The tach worked best when I wired in a 10k ohm resistor

Got the new gears and chain setup in that Jedi made for me. Damn, even though I can probably do it blindfolded it was a LOT of work. The biggest thing was prepping the case after the little incident that happened. But new bearings, seals and a thorough resurfacing of the inside of the case made it an all day job instead of the usual couple hours but I also tapped the holes that held the tensioner in and I measured and cut a couple chrome hex bolts to plug them. Even put copper crush washers on just to be sure. The biggest bitch is lining up the front shaft while holding the case, swingarm and trying to guide the joint out of the motor to find the new shaft was torture! Especially with no help on the floor with the bike on a jack. But, it's done and just took a little ride and it feels better than it EVER felt since I've had the bike!! Dear God, PLEASE let this be the final cure for this issue. It does feel great and I have confidence in the new Super heavy duty design. A Big THANK YOU to Jedi and Sean who have been incredible to deal with!!! Also thanks to Todd, And everyone else who offered any help they could provide. Thanks, time to ride...
