I rode another loop tonight. Everything centered up and torqued to spec. Felt really good. I think I'll take a bit of slack out of the throttle side, but it's starting to feel like a real bike again. Holy power, batman!!!

Got the daughter involved, she's my little artist

Got my Morgan carbtune today! Goodbye piece o **** motion pro with your ever dissappearing blue fluid... may you enjoy the garbage dump!!!!

Paid extra for a permanent plate tag for my 85 Vmax, as long as i own it now it will have current tags.
Bike has been sitting under wraps for the last couple of weeks, bad weather, new job, but its supposed to be warmer and sunny this weekend, temps above 60f.

I took it for a im getting a new tire soon ride!!! Hit the beach, grabbed some pizza and enjoyed the weather. Ended up riding with a guy who drove a 1198 Ducati. We stopped for gas and he informed me of how the V-Max was his favorite Yamaha. Little did he know he was riding one of my favorite Ducati's. Man that thing is loud!

Got out for my first ride of the year, notice a MASSIVE difference with having radials on a set of Carrs, but alas some other issues presented themselves so im back to being sidelined for a bit.

Yes as I have said many times, I believe radials to be the #1 biggest change you can make to a VMax. It tracks better, steers better, corners better, feels more trustworthy in the upper speed range especially, and eliminates nearly all concerns related to handling.

Geez, what else is going on w/your ride? :bang head:

Cant run it without the choke being on and cant get fast enough to get on the mains. It idled fine and reved great in the garage but under load, not so much.

Sounds like the airbox needs to be installed (and you also need the faux tank cover installed)
