Learned a valuable lesson. Don't try to separate the slides to replace the diaphragm. The whole bottom breaks off when you do. Thanks youtube. :)

just buy JBM Industries (BS34) diaphragms and forget horsing around with taking slides apart or messing with wd40 to sneak diaphragms in without disassembly
. Check them out. They are of a different design that eliminates the two plastic washers completely. I can testify that these work well and are sure a snap to install. Also usually less expensive than anything else.

Weather over here is getting cold. :snow:
Got her ready for winter hibernation.. :tantrum::wave bye:
Now, I just have to put her in place and cover her up.

Put it on the lift for winter work. Changing all the rubber under the cover as they are getting hard. Lots of miles and heat cycles take their toll.

Come on man! It's going to 55 Saturday and a couple days next week! :biglaugh:

I put my solid motor mounts in tonight. What a process that was lol. It’s a good thing I waited til this time of year to install them when it’s all tore down.

Received some bar end mirrors and came up with a plan for installing them. Also a plan for installing saddlebags.

I know, I know.. It sucks putting her away for the winter, but since I have to calculate a 10-15 degree drop in temps while riding, with the gear I have, it's already getting a bit chilly for me..

I know, some guys ride with the show on the ground, but that's not for this kid. :surprise:

Well, shes topped off, mufflers covered, cylinders oiled, and battery removed. She's put on the side of the house and ready to hibernate. Moved her into position yesterday and it's supposed to get up to 60' today, :tantrum:

Will do. Amassing parts still. Plan was to get the bulk done this winter but work decided to send me to training 4 months ahead of schedule so I'm busy with that. Mostly fab work to do and plan out all the plumbing. Wanted to keep everything as discreet and hidden as possible but it'll be tough.

I went for a test ride after updating the shift segment and rebuilding clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder. All works all though shifting gears is not as smooth as i would like.
