After a spell of crappy weather and a frost warning, I put Godzilla into hibernation yesterday. I will keep the Roadstar out for fall/winter riding.

Orange and black, the traditional Bar and Shield colors, look great on a bike. I recall when the XR-750 came out, and with its minimal bodywork, the low, slim gas tank, and the sliver of a seat/fender, in orange, black and white, it just was so purposeful. A few have been converted to street use, but it was intended for the half-mile and mile tracks. There it was a bludgeon. It was the best for many years in Grand National competition though Kenny Roberts, Bubba Shobert and Rickey Graham won the #1 plate for Yamaha and Honda along the way. Before the XR-750 Gene Romero, Dick Mann, and Gary Nixon won the #1 plate riding Triumphs, often blue, white and black.

Kyle, you've probably mentioned it in the past, what do you use? PPG? I assume the grey is primer? The engine came out great.

I have 20 miles on my "86 after a complete 1.5 yearlong tear down (refurbish for you dictionary fans). Still have some sorting to do but over all very satisfied. Planning on a trip up pikes peak with a best friend next summer. Happy trails to all. Also I have mufflers, like new, take offs from an "07 ,$250, as of now I cannot ship, problems with our local ups. If I am able to ship latter the cost will be added . I live in Alamosa Co 81101 .

Wow, that is good lookin…

Kyle, the white pole on the left-rear of the trailer, is that there so you see the trailer is still-there, looking in the rear-view mirror? 🤔

The bike looks like an '86?
