Is that because your as hurts or you running outa gas? :damn angry:

Or is it because too many sexy bikini-clad models keep stopping you wanting to pose on it? :worthy::worthy:

because of the gas :bang head: however as much as i like being flashed it should be illegal. i almost rode off the road due to it! on a side note. first time my dad heard the bike and he ( has been around bikes for about 40 years or so) said he has never heard a bike that sounded that ferocious :punk:

Upgraded the seat to a Sportmax (thanks Bob). Makes a HUGE difference in ergos and comfort and I shouldn't have waited this long.

I wish the shinko's were more sized like the rest of the industry. The 170 is not much bigger then the stock 150.

You know Sean, I was just thinking that yesterday looking at the back of my two bikes - Maxine has the 170 Shinko and the spare has a 150 Dunlop, and they look almost identical..

Never having paid much attention to the Shinko's as I run 18" radials, is this due to the Shinko tire having a rounder profile? If I remember correctly, which is a dangerous assumption these days, the measurement follows the profile of the tire so a rounder profile would be technically wider than a smaller sized on with a flatter profile even though the footprint of both is the same.

No, in my opinion, it's due to no real industry standards requiring them to hold to the measuements.

I know this has been asked 1000 times, but is the current easiest way to go a bit wider on back, the Metzler ME880 170? I think that's what I want to do, but just making sure something better hasn't arrived as of late.

Thanks; I think I'll go with the Metz, since the previous owner put a new ME880 on the front just before selling it to me.

Don't forget to shorten the side stand. I forgot to tell you that the bike will be low enough to need it.
