What did you do to your Vmax today?

Finished the license plate ligfht instal and it came out really good then, took out my 12 yr. out for her B-Day. to game works at the mall and dropped a hundred bucks like toilet paper but she`s doing really good in school :clapping:so it was worth it. We came home ate cake and opened her presents and now it`s beddy bye time, Goodnite.

Installed my Mark's exhaust, it sounds awesome!!!unk:unk:
The install went pretty smooth, had to enlarge the LH can mount hole a tiny bit. I am also going to get some longer SS bolts to mount the cans as the stock bolts are a little shorter than I liked (didn't get but 1/2 of the threads into the nut). I had to reroute the tube from the radiator over flow tube to keep it from melting onto the collector.
But man, the exhaust tone is sweeeet with the 12" cans. I couldn't be happier! :thumbs up: :thumbs up:

Nice Mike, but sad you had to put shadowmax away again, even if just for a week. I hope to get Redbone out on Sunday for a ride, still have some more work to do but I just cannot resist the urge.unk:

Chuckled at some guy going the other direction cause his headlight was out only to find my lowbeam had quit sometime through my ride. It was working when I left. He was probably shaking his head at me also.

I got my messed up mufflers off tonight. And Yes I had to run the VMax with no mufflers on it. Man!!! Rock Hard hard on... Neighbor came over, thought I was building a dragster. LOL.
Tried to get the new one back on but learned the rear wheel needs to come off. Bummer! So left it off for the moment.

Got rid of the rear directionals, only to find the new ones have a lot smaller post, so I'll have to find a shouldered grommet for them. Grrrrrrrr!

Did get my rear fender off and the trailer light off and my new led tail light plate frame put on.

Got the bent right side engine guard off only to find the lower bolt was bent, now need to get another one. GRRRRRRRRRRR.

Got my new air box cover on after putting in my new K&N air filter.
Took off the old chrome Dumbo mirrors. Then told her I loved her. And will do some more work on her tomorrow.
Iced down the beer that was left in the cooler and called it a night.

Last week my new 2nd hand cop's arrived and today was the day for installing them.Rang Gleno to make sure I had the wires going to the right places .Did the install and started the max up.No worries ,sounded sharper,revved ok and then stalled .ok? :ummm:Checked over all the mods .Started it again,running on 3 cylinders,rear right not as hot.Shut down ,swapped cop for another ,started it both rears aren't firing and then right front decided to join the other two in a sympathy strike . :bang head:Measured all the resistances of the cops and the pickup coils all seem ok .Removed airbox and started to smell that burnt wiring smell.oh fuck off.Removed the black box and it was melted on the back corner ,removed cover and found one complete corner is burnt,charred and absolutely and completely fucked:bang head::bang head::bang head::bang head:but one good thing was when I was checking the resistances of the pickup coils I found my regulator/stator connector was burnt out so I fixed that and then packed up my tools and parked the max in the garage :damn angry::damn angry::damn angry::damn angry: why me?and I just sent my spare to a fellow vmaxxer to test/swap to see if his is ok?
