going on a long ride with my church roup so I broke into the shed, looked at that honda an stole it`s pegs and fabricated a pair of highway pegs for max, as I cosed the shed door, I thought I heard the Honda crying,.
They came out pretty good and I will post pics tomorrow when I get back.
(another mod that I`m satisfied with) Yabba dabba doooo.

Rode it!!!!! Tested my Raptor Shift light in all gears. Ran it up to 140, Perfection. No wobble and grabbed decent air in 2 gears. Even in the day light, The red Led is bright enough, Impressed. My COO oil pressure gauge is working out well.

hooked up my t-boost today......what a freakin blast runnin in 3k:punk:!
engine sounds like a NASCAR!!!! i likeeeeeee:worthy:

Finally cleared all my friends bikes out of the garage so I could change the bad pick up coil. It is in and finally fired up after having to reload the EFI map!:banana:Thanks again to red98vmax (Steve) for the free pick up coil assembly!:clapping::punk: . I did a complete picture pictorial of changing it as I remember someone asking how to do the starter clutch and the steps are the same to get to the flywheel. I'll start a thread of the work.

here are the photos of the highway pegs I made for the vmax yesterday

Installed my Mark's exhaust, it sounds awesome!!!:punk::punk:

C'mon Brian, wheres the sound?! I would like to compare your 2 1/4" outlets with the 2 1/2":whistlin: By the way, I ordered some SS hardware. I should have it Thursday. I should have some extras for the cans if you haven't gotten to it yet.

This weekend I installed a Galfer clutch line, repalcing the factory line and I think fluid. May that was some coagulated crap that came out of the MC! I ran bunch of clean fluid through the old line just to clean out the system. It took a while to get the fluid flowing through the dry hose ( NOW I wish I bought a mityvac:bang head:) but I finally did get it to flowclear. It works greatm better than ever in fact.
I also bolted everything esle back on Redbone on Sat and Sunday morning, double checking everything except one of the SS button cap screws that hold on the horn/ hi&lo beam/ turnsignal switches which promptly vibrated out and now I will have usemy old phillips head screw until I can get a replacement.
I went for a short shake down that I lost the screw above on and checked my new rotors/ fork bracket/ brake and clutch lines/ new ss bolts (thanks Sheldon!) I installed and the rest of the bike a once over. My brother and I went for a 40 mile trip even though it was very overcast and was to rain in the evening. Rebone feels good and responsive but will have to wait for better weather than the rain today.:damn angry:

looks good man. are they passenger pegs?
No they`re from the front of the honda but, I tried them out on saturday
and they work pretty goog but now, I have to decide wether to keep them on permanently or use them for long rides only.:ummm:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but they look like pegs from an old Honda!? Nice job!
You win the cigarLOL,
They are from my 1980 honda 900 custom that I have in my shed. By the way, The engine is for sale (cheap) and is in good condition and, the carbs are jetted one size up.

I rolled my sick ass out of bed and went out to the garage. My friend didn't want the Kerker, so I opened it up. No packing to be found. So, I went out and picked up some packing material and then cut the can down from 18" to 14". Put everything back together and fired her up.

To Me it sounds and looks 110% better, But I'm still liking the sound of the supertrapp better. Both have the same volume now but the supertrapp is just a cleaner more punchy sound with the 12 discs. I'm going to have a custom midpipe bent up for the supertrapp can next week when I'm feeling better.

Tomorrow, I'll post a video using a different recorder (outside for you Lankee :biglaugh:) so you can compare the sounds.

took both rims off. gonna have them re-balanced, see if that helps my weird new wobble...

I put the brake handle on the bike that Garret sent me .:worthy:
The max dosen`t look broken anymore LOL.:eusa_dance:
Here are pics of the new one and the broken one.

Here is the video, I just slid the supertrapp on the header and held it on with some wire, this is not how it will be mounted. I'm having a new midpipe bent up for the supertrapp. I do like the look of the kerker better, it fits the colors of my bike. Its not the bestest video I've ever done, but who cares. I just wanted the sound.
