That sucks....I hope when it goes back together it is better than ever.....

Are you going to have the gears back cut??

This is my worst fear with this bike:confused2:

I would imagine so. IIRC his last trans was cut, with a Venture fifth. I'd guess his new one will probably be coming straight from Sean.

If it isn't I should go down there and bop him over the head.

FARGO!

Lemme borrow your seat while you're down this time, my ass is killing me!

Come and get it Bob, just as long as you promise to give it back :biglaugh:
Its going to be down for a while, putting in new cams, as well, while the engine is out. :eusa_dance::eusa_dance:

My last one was a back cut from Sean with the Royal Star 5th OD. Dont think it is a tranny issue but going to replace it anyways while I have it open. The issue is with the shift forks or drum, already checked the shift segement, it was fine. Sean being the awesome guy he is is sending out all the parts at his cost since the engine is less than a year old. Basically the thinking is, since I have to split the case due to shifting issues who knows if the tranny sustained any damage and instead of waiting to find out I need one he is just sending one out anyways.
That my friends is my kind of service. :punk::punk::punk:
ALL of My Business goes to Sean for this very reason. If he is a dealer for it or can get it, I get it from Him.
I am sure he secretly wishes from time to time I didnt have his phone number. :rofl_200:

Hey Bob, I remember you telling me you were having problems earlier with yours. I am learning on mine so if you are still having issues come on down and we can go through this together. Bring Dave with you, you can ride your bikes and tease me cause I cant ride mine.
Cheers

I've received all my parts to get the bike back together. I need to tear the old exhaust off and ship it off to Sean and then pay Mark for the new system. I need to get it all done asap as I feel I am stringing these guys out and don't like doing that at all...

Anyways... Maybe tonight...

Chris

That would be nice except my bike is down too(for the moment):bang head:
right now I`m on your side of the broken boat LOL

Ordered a MEK carbon dirt catcher, fitted my windscreen/fairing, and wired a fan switch. Tomorrow I plan on fitting my steering damper. Hopefully my shocks will be in next week. Said they left sweden may 18.

After buying the bike last month and spending a couple weeks preping and swapping parts I drove it to work for the first time this morning. Wow -driving to work has taken on a new perspective.

Changed oil and filter on the fry cooker today. Note to self: might want to allow a little more time for the headers to cool before touching the back of your hand to it while removing the drain plug.

Hope you have an understanding Boss. Due to my unpredictable nature while riding my VMax, I often am late because I often explore new routes to work and get lost on my way back from lunch.

If I could afford a 2nd bike, I would definitely consider the BK. What kind of stuff are folks doing to change the looks? Exhaust, tail light/plate, tank/scoops? You know where I could find some photos of some that have been modded in the looks dept? Can't afford one but would still like to check em out.

Installed the exhaust. Fit great and it's WAY easier to install over the Walker kit. Sounds great too!

Dammit, and I was going to try to get you guys to a local bike night this Sat too.

Excellant Chris! It was easier to install? I admit mine was relatively easy to install too but thought that Dale's system would be equally so too. :confused2:
Let's see some pictures when you get a chance. :thumbs up:

The Walker kit is press fit with clamps to hold it all tight whereas Marks are press fit with springs to hold them together. I had Dales OLD kit which had the ceramic coated steel tubes and you had to sand all all the joints to get them to even slide together. As you know, when you're under the bike fitting pipes it's a lot easier if the pipes slide together easily. Dales didn't do this. They were a fight going on and a fight coming off. The only gripe I had with Marks is there was no pipe orientation. Meaning he didn't write L, LEFT, PORT, Link, gauche, linker, αριστερός, di sinistra, 左, лево, izquierd on one set of pipes to make it easier to just bolt them on. It took a bit to orientate myself with them but once I had it figured out it went right on...

I like the look and sound so far. I went with 14" 2.25" outlet. 12"x2.5" would be NUTS loud. I need it to be a little quiet... lol:biglaugh:

Now this weekend (tomorrow) I am going to replace all the banged up parts. Should be FUN!:bang head:

With regard to the DW exhaust....I had to do the same thing. I thought maybe I had gotten a system that was over coated. None of the rear cylinder sleeves fit.

That WAS normal. I talked to Dale about it before installing it and he said I'd have to sand them. So I knew before hand. Still sucked! I bet his new stainless pipes are much better in that regards.

NEVER say die Bro I`m going to put that regulator on the bike today and with Gods grace she`ll fire and run like she should.
I`ll post the results today but I have to get out to Fargo`s house to get the "RR" this morning.
