I changed my oil to that synthetic Rotella T 5w-40. I must say it really made a difference, the engine seems to run a little smoother.

Installed new frame sliders and shift light bracket, both from Cycle One-off.

I got my bike back together this weekend. All the new parts are on it and the bled the front brakes and clutch and the last but not least was the oil change with 5w40. Bike looks great but I'm still waiting on the faux cover, and rad side cover to get back from paint and my custom crash bungs from COO.

Then... I'm riding it!!! Can't wait to show off the exhaust. Man it sounds good.

Helped Kdinkelman and his wife KellieLu replace the starter clutch on Kellie's bike. Took only a couple of hours total thanks to the PCW type puller Kent had. I only had to whack it 3-4 times and the flywheel popped loose. Hardest part was adjusting the shifter height...the damn think was chromed.

Here are some pics of the bikes that everyone has asked for, sorry for the delay but pics are not not a big issue for me.
Nice Man! I hope you bring both along to the Icebreaker!
The CF looks sweet on the '09 MP, but I can't deny that '02 MP looks nicley tricked out too!
I also hope shadowmax shows up too, I can't wait until the Manitoulin ride to see it, come on down Mike and join the fun!

Ya i might bring both to the icebreaker, then i can at least give jim a little taste of whats to come, hehe.:biglaugh:I might be selliing the works shocks that are on the 02 and this way a few interested folks can see them as well.

I went out to the south end of town town to drop in on 626vmax and rode that critter of his, made me give second thought to the DW pipes, they sound a lot better in person than I had been led to believe, nice deep beat.

I wish I had brought my camera, we both have the '01 Max, and parked together you wouldn't believe it's even the same bike. Just one more fun thing about old max, it certainly lends itself to being tailored to the rider.

One more time the quality and overall sincerity of this board has turned strangers into brothers in arms. Good times. I'm hoping we can find one more local, grab Fargo, and head out to Cooks Corner some weekend, people do enough gawking when they see one V-max at a weekend bike spot, imagine rolling up with a whole flight of em? Worth the ride for the looks alone.

Just came in from the workshop with some measurements to try and fab a stainless or billet rad grill for the lower rad,iv'e also taken dimesions for some billet rings to go inside the intake scoops on the 09 to give it a little more depth, there is no contrast right now with the carbon fibre scoops.I should be getting these on thursday and i will install them and take some pics. Also may be making some adjustable kick stands as well similar to what i have on the 02,got to check out material and time frame, will take a pic of the proto type when done.

Changed the rear brake pads, bled the rear line, installed new bag hangers.............that's enough for today.

There's nothing quite like it 72!! During Brownie Run weekend we all went down Main ST in the small village of Chatham, NY.....beautiful warm sunny morning, narrow street, 3 & 4 story buildings either side.....you get the picture! Couple sidewalk cafes with 'civilians' sitting at tables drinking coffee, relaxing.....THEN, down the street comes about a dozen V Max's, Marving's, Holeshots, Supertrapps....conversations stopped, coffee's were suspended in mid drink....everybody simply froze and watched this mobile 'super storm' go by....it gives me goose bumps just thinking about it!

Even the cop walking his morning beat just turned his back and looked in a store window....prolly thinking, "Oh, this can't be good!!" :biglaugh:

THOSE CRAZY AMERICANS,would have loved to have been there....:worthy:

I haven't done anything to Max yet today, but I spent the morning fixing a friends Harley because he didn't know where his fuses were. Snrk.

Well it's done, was bored and went searching for some stainless steel mesh i had kicking around somewhere, small weave, took off the lower rad protecter and cut to fit the stainless to fit on the inside of the original, went this way because i want to retain that black look and this way you hardly notice it at all and it will protect it a lot better.Did not like the stock amount of protection that was there, but now i can sleep better at night.:eusa_dance:

P.S i took some pics but again my computer is not finding them in the camera, will try again later.:bang head::bang head:
