" LOL " :rofl_200:.. AND SPEAKING OF CHAIN , I WISH MY MAX WAS CHAIN DRIVE SO I COULD GO UP 4 TEETH ON THE FRONT SPROCKET ! ... I HAVE HAD SOME RICE ROCKETS & I MUST SAY THEY WERE PRETTY COMFORTABLE , BEING STRETCHED OUT INSTEAD OF BEING KIND OF CRAMPED UP ! .. :confused2:... SOME OF THEM ARE MORE COMFORTABLE THEN THEY LOOK ! .. :punk:

is that like saying she wasn't that fat i swear!!!! :rofl_200:

SO BACK TO MY ORIGINAL QUESTION , IS THERE NO ONE THAT OWNED A GEN #1 & NOW OWNS A GEN. #2 , THAT CAN TELL ME WITCH ONE IS MORE COMFORTABLE FOR TALLER RIDERS ? .. :confused2:... ,

CAN ANYONE WHO OWNED A GENERATION #1 V-MAX & NOW OWNS A GENERATION #2 TELL ME IF THE GEN. #2 IS MORE COMFORTABLE FOR TALLER RIDERS ? ... I'M 5'-11 & 1/2" , ( AND YES THAT 1/2 INCH COUNTS ) AND I FEEL LIKE I'M 8 FEET TALL ON MY GEN. #1 .. :confused2:

i'm 5' 11" and have no problems on my gen 1.
but i ride in what you might call attack position.
and i have long arms.my arm span says i should be 6' 5".
thats why i did my handle bar swap. the stock bars made me feel cramped.

It's all opinions. Many tall riders like the short seat. Some like the Corbins. You need to find some vmax guys and try them out. I might be able to send a seat for testing if you wanted.

is there a waiting list for your seats ?
and whats the difference between a morley seat and a sportmax?
corbins just don't have the look that i like.

The basic concept between the two seats is the same. Lower COG and wider seating surface. How we attack the situation is different and maybe the quality. Do some asking and looking around on here (there are lots of threads on it and pics). We have a lot more options then he lists. We also reshape corbins (pics on here too).

Typical turn around on seats is 2-6 weeks depending on where my cores are.

I am short at 5'9" and have the Kuryakyn highway pegs. They work great, even for a short guy like me. Nice to stretch out on a long run....gets the blood flowing again.

I can vouch for the muscle seats.....they ROCK!!! I've had both seats and this ones a bit more comfy on them long rides. You couldn't ask for a better person to deal with either for sure.:punk:

Hi and welcome first off:biglaugh:
I am 6'4" and really like my setup. I have Sean Morley's muscle midcut seat and then I have riding pegs attached to my engine guards to stretch out my legs from time to time.
Enjoy your new ride:punk:

as you can see in my pic I posted I have my pegs as low and forward as posible. With this style of pegs you can adjust any angle so it would work for pretty well anybody whatever height you are. After putting them on I wondered why I hadn't done this mod a long time ago:eusa_dance:

I want a set of those too. I looked up the Kuryakyn highway pegs and there are about 12 different ones. Does anybody have a part number yet. I figure we need the right angle ones.

Sean if you can send me a set let me know. I want to mount them on the engine guard also. And BTW I am 5' 10" and a half and damn straight the 1/2 counts.:biglaugh:

What do the engine guards measure for bar diameter (you can use a crescent wrench and tape measure to get the diameter). I can then figure up the correct peg mount. From there you'll have a number of pegs to pick from.

Sean

Looks like you have a few options (note - take 15% off the retail price listed). First you will need to get the peg mount and there are different versions. Then you can chose a few different pegs.

The set that looks like his picture would be:
7996 Offset Peg Mounts (pr) $51.99
1002 1" Magnum Quick Clamp (pr) $42.99
8002 Large ISO-Peg, Male Mount (pr) $48.99

Note: there are a ton of peg options and other offset and or straight peg mounts. Check out the Kuryakyn site for tons more pics. You just need the clamp or offset bracket with clamp. Then the right pegs (mostly male mounting type).

I have a set of pegs like those, they look just like the ones on your guards for sale if anyone is interested.

They need to be cleaned up but here is a pic of them

That's the exact setup as I noted above but with the larger pegs (a little more expensive but also more surface to rest the feet on). I'm sure Ron will make you a decent deal too.
