:ummm: Anyone know if the 09 VMAX wheels will work on the previous models? The rear wheel of the new VMAX is 3.5" wide, so it is the same width as the the custom wheels that fit the older models, just not sure about the driveshaft/hub bolting up.

Can an 85 front wheel be used on a 97 Vmax? I not sure, i know things were changed in 93 with the fork diameter and brakes. I am not totally sure to what extent , though. I want to use my stock 97 brake components but was worried the wheel hub may be a different width than the 85.

FJR1300 Wheels Vmax Swap??? Not sure if this has been covered but I was looking at a Yamaha FJR1300 and the wheels appear to have the same features as the V-Max. Does anyone know if these wheels (front and rear) are a direct bolt on? They are 17" wheels.
