I've decided to look at this with a whole new attitude....that's right, a total reversal!!

It's a great time to be an American....just think of the free **** that's gonna be available soon....even more than before! Might have to alter a little paperwork, make a few 'appearance adjustments', stuff like that but that's no big deal.

I've worked all my life and now I want the free **** that's coming to me!! And....being retired I got tons of time to roam around the intraweb and find the best deals on this free ****!!

Hoo-Rah!! Life is gonna be sooooo good!! :clapping::clapping::clapping: :punk:

Let's see....I'll dump this 15 yr old truck w/160K miles, get me a nice Cadillac or Lincoln, get into some nice threads, as befits a man of my position....ooooh, this is sweeeet!! :th_image003:

I had a Rude Awakening, Premonision on Sunday. I was still hopeful inside but knew BO would win. I'm going to move Forward on my own. Prepper is a term that is going to be very common to me. Till that comes into play, I'll do as Dan-o and try for all the Free **** I can get....

Hope they don't f**k with the gun laws either or :hitsfan:
+1, too many useless gun laws already. The only one that benefits is the criminal. Safety laws I can get behind. Responsible storage and rules to protect youngsters from carelessness-fine. But who buys or owns a gun? It's none of the Governments business. These are f'd up times we live in. Too many laws denying a person protection.Too many crooks that know this!
Steve-o

Sure Obama hasn't done anything for gun owners to worry about besides running guns to the Mexican drug cartels in an effort to inflict more gun control, ohh yea there's also that UN small arms treaty that Obama and Hillary fully support and just that pesky constitution in the way....

1. I'm not sure how many hops it takes to get from arming drug cartels to banning guns in the US but rest assured they won't happen. Nobody hears a story like that and thinks 'this is why we should ban guns'.
2. Hillary is stepping down for this term.
3. This UN treaty? http://www.snopes.com/politics/guns/untreaty.asp :ummm:

Obama doesn't really give a **** about gun control. Even after that movie theater shooting when The Dark Knight Rises came out the only statement he made was pretty much 'we should probably enforce the laws we already have'. There have been no statements regarding new legislation, bans, or anything else to get excited about. You guys seriously can relax about this.

Zak....I'm going to have to nickname you the "Truthinator":biglaugh:

Thanks for helping to keep it real........it's a lot of work I know!

There is so much misinformation out there it's almost impossible to keep up with all of it.

+1, true that bro. The koolaid going around this election was extra strong.

Thanks fellas, we live in the information age and unfortunately that means the misinfo and disinfo goes around as fast as the real stuff. Take everything with a grain of salt and consider the source of info. It's easier than ever to get exposed to bad information, and some of the time it comes from the same sources that are known for giving good information.

The best example of this I can offer is raw numbers. A lot of major media outlets were calling this election 'too close to call' when a few people were saying it's actually very predictable how it will turn out.

Look at this:
http://www.slate.com/articles/news_...s_predictions_against_the_actual_results.html
GQvYb.png

3 guys called it exactly on the nose. 50 for 50 states they forecast were 100% correct. They based their calls on the same polling data that the other darts did. That's just the many different ways people interpreted raw numbers from several different polling agencies. That spread only gets wider as the information reported and analyzed gets more complex than basic math.

I guess my point is that you can't get the whole story from headlines anymore, and you can't trust any single headline from any source will be entirely accurate. Heads up bros, the onus is now on us to stay well informed and not buy into the rhetoric, and boy are there are a lot of media outlets selling it at fire sale prices.

My glass of kool-aid cost 16 trillion dollars, and was imported from Benghazi. I ordered it with my obama phone. I tried to get the ingredients of the kool-aid but Rev Wright Damned them and bill Ayres blew them up.I tried to get it delivered from a guy on wefare, but he said I was rich and he should have the kool-aid instead of me, something about paying my fair share. I tried to buy another glass of Kool-aid and support the economy, but my taxes are going to go up a minimum of $1500. I guess thats ok though. Isn't it my duty as an american to help pay for birth control and Abortions. Does anybody know how to ask for kool-aid in spanish. I heard Obama was going to start on Immagrtion reform. Ask the great state of Arizona about that.

Linked everything that needs review. Didn't specifically point to anything on Wright and Ayers because come on. Those affiliations had some concern in 2008 when Obama was a relative unknown, but dick has come of them in the last 4 and it's obvious there's nothing to those connections for the next 4 either.

You're right on the last couple things. Obamacare mandates insurance companies provide free birth control and thus 'you pay for it' and allows states and individual insurance companies the ability to make up their own mind on if they want abortions covered. If both the state and insurance company allow it then tax money will fund it.

Immigration reform has been promised, but it's highly unlikely anything will be modeled after Arizona's attempts at it.

Rally on these, they're valid things to be upset about if you disagree with them. Try not to get too worked up over the rest as they range from not Obama to not existent.

Didn't your mom ever teach you, you're know by the company you keep. You don't hang with people you disagree with. It all comes down to charater. I think dick did come out of it. Just because there not in the room with him, Doesn't mean they didn't help to shape who he is today.I would suggest that a little bit of Rev Wrights teachings came through when he went on his apology tour in the middle east.

We're all done Paul!! Just check his eyes!! If that doesn't scare you then you ain't scared a nuttin'!

Some people have the vocabulary to sum up things in a way that you can
quickly understand them. This quote came from the Czech Republic.
Someone over there has it figured out. It was translated into English
from an article in the Prague newspaper Prager Zeitungon

"The danger to America is not Barack Obama, but a citizenry capable of
entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier
to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore
the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate
willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much
deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of
what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind
anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince.
The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a
fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools, such as those
who made him their president."

Hoo rah

I hang around with all kinds of people I disagree with. If we lived close we could just as easily be disagreeing on this stuff over drinks at a bar as far as I'm concerned. There was no apology tour.

Obama has done and does things worthy of criticism. I pointed a couple out in the last post re: provisions of Obamacare. I don't know why people keep hanging on to this stuff when there are real things to pick on. The continued focus on things that are not true instead of the things that are true and disagreeable are probably part of the reason he got re-elected.

I hardly compare 20 yrs in a church pew to drink at a bar. I believe the word Obama used was "mentor"
http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Journalism/2012/06/04/Obama-Ayers
You can dismiss this as fodder, but it all goes to who he is.

There's not a single apology in that video montage. It does show clips discussed in the links I gave.

Here's a snip from the first article I linked that mentions an exact clip in that montage.
During an address in Strasbourg, France, in April 2009, Obama did utter words Romney referenced in the debate.
In that speech, Obama said, "there have been times where America has shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive."
But in the very next sentence, Obama called out the Europeans for an "anti-Americanism that is at once casual but can also be insidious. Instead of recognizing the good that America so often does in the world, there have been times where Europeans choose to blame America for much of what's bad."
He then goes on to talk about forging "common solutions to our common problems."

That's not apologizing or asking for forgiveness of errors. That's saying 'we have been less than perfect, and so have you, so lets move on from this and get stuff done.' That's just politics man.
