The A/F meter doesn't work in conjunction with your EFI, it is a stand alone device that you will use for tweaking your EFI. I had a different A/F meter but it is not intended to tie into the kit Bill sells.

http://www.enginemanagement.co.uk/prod_lambda.asp Buster this is why i ask, found this info and thought that since the ecu on bills system does display ,rpm ,wt,tp,%of correction, ect when pluged into the lap top, that i could use those spcefic input wires and wire this a/f meter-display and use ALL the info to tweak the mapp.
Im no computer guy,it just seemed to make since to me.(I understand its " stand alone"but it would be nice to have temp in one corner and throttle position in th other.)check out the second link.thats the one got my attention.

FYI:. i just picked up an LM-1 with a digital dash gauge setup and might be willing to pay someone to get it back together as it came out hardwired into a car. i could probably get it wired up, but my thinking is i'd prefer to have it ready to go for the spring and someone have used it on their bike to let me know if it works (if it doesn't i'll take it up with the seller).

its mostly just the power wiring needs to be redone for a cig adapter and the dash gauge has to be re-wired up to the LM-1 unit itself. a 9V battery plug needs to be put back on as well, which i may just do.

There are a couple other wires missing, and from what i can tell its mainly the one that goes from the LM-1 to a comp so not a huge deal. like i said not sure about it yet, but i have no way to get it tested even if i get it all wired up so if i sent it off to someone for testing they may have to tweak it anyways.

fargo has first dibs. if ur still interested fargo, i will def contribute to your funds, as in your carb section.

Yes, I understand. The system on Jim's bike use to be on mine. The issue is this system is an open loop system so you are responsible to tweak the maps. I imagine you could interface the sensor into the system but it won't make any difference to the maps although it may display the level on the software interface. On Bill's site it shows the closed loop system ("self learning system") and you can see all the different sensors you have to add in, the 02 sensor being one of them.
