Wow, nice bikes!

My bike is a 2003 with about 7,000 KM. I just bought it last year, the bike was a garage princess, but that has/will change :biglaugh:. Pretty much bare bones stock, I have a windshield and different signals, as well as the motorcycle mods tail light to be installed before summer. Anyways this is the best pic I have right now.

2000, 1500 tourmaster and a lot of other extras. Also now have a carbon canister

This how I want my bike to look alike!!!

are those cycleoneoff wheels? I'm just waiting for my tax return :) and will order them shortly. He offers polished lip and I don't know if I should go for it or just totally black. I'm not big fan of chrome. Is that R1 front end? and what kind of shocks you have on the back?

Firt of all to let you all know, I got a killer deal on my max. I had a 99 I bought new and sold last summer because I bought the one pictured in 06, it is a 2000.

When I bought It had 6100 miles on the bike, 3100 on the new 1500 motor, kerker, stage 7, SPA, 3" extended/braced/notched swingarm. $9000.00 in extras, bike stock booked at $6200.00. I bought the bike for not much less than what the extras cost!

Here is a before pic with a Honda hornet headlight. I didnt like this light because it protruded out too far. but from the front it looked good and the windshield worked surprisingly well.

My 250lb ass ran a 10.4 quarter the first time ever at the track with a decent tire but would like to try something grippier. there arent **** for tracks around so i havent gone since. closest is 5 hours.

some answers to some of your questions

I added

- Drag bars

-kuryakyn grips

-engine gaurds with kuryakyn stilletos pegs

-otec gen cover

-otec triple tree

-05 r1- forks

-17"wheels- rear is from BBR/euro company, it is a gsxr conversion, i got on ebay for 350.00 with a brand new tire, rim normally is a $1000.00 at the exchange rate a couple years ago. The front is a YZF Thunderace 1000, this is the only YZF wheel that has the angled spokes to match the rear gsxr. The thunderace was only avail in the US in 97-98. This wheel spaced the rotors too wide for the forks/calipers, so I had my buddy put the wheel on a end mill and shave off the rotor standouts to bring the rotor closer together. Took off about 3/16" each side

-Ohlins shocks, I had all the gold zinc plate redone in black zinc and the resivoirs polished.

-going to install my flatslide carbs that i have posted for sale, since no takers. had these on my old bike.

-new taillight from motorcyclemods.com soon to be installed

im pretty much done with the mods. although considering NOS.

:ummm: Maybe. I have thought about it.
At 6ft 2" with lowered bars the mirrors are in the right position.

I've thought about different indicators as well, but at the end of the day the lollipops keep it looking like an an '88 model.

But you never know. If I see the right look, the mod monkey will bight me again. :clapping:
