Gary, I noticed the fuel hoses/injectors are on the outside of the manifold. I'm just curious but is it possible to mount them on the inside to clean up the look? Or is there a performance aspect that I'm missing?

I have the parts to ship but delays kept it from happening. SHould ship monday. Sorry for the delay!
. Has anybody considered using the throttle bodies off of a Honda vfr 800? It might be less to modify than an inline four's. I think the key for keeping the price down and making it easy is using the max's stock rubber spigots.
Hey Gary, here is someone else that thinks like me! Scary, huh?:rofl_200:
Actually greytsaver, that has come up. The biggest problem at the moment is that we have to get a set in our hands before we can have an idea. I'm already out over $350 on TB's(and i got some smok'n deals). I've tried to send PM's to some that are selling the VFR TB's but only one(of about 10) has even bothered replying and he only answered part of my question and never replied back after that. Another thing to consider is the injector sizing. Though i'm pretty sure they will be large enough for a stk motor, i'm not sure how much more. Lastly, all the Honda TB's have a very odd flange for the airfilter side which would require an adapter to be made to fit a filter. It also makes fabing a box more difficult.
We may revisit the VFR TB's once we get a working EFI system up and running. Right now, we need to get something workable so we can proceed with other aspects of the system, namely the electronics.
BTW, happen to know the ID and OD of the outlet fange(where it goes into the intake manifold) of the VFR TB's?
Sweet Gary! How much are the aluminum plugs? Could you just retain the vboost valves and keep 'em closed?
Hey Gary (or anybody), I have a couple of questions. How do the gsxr 600 tb's fit onto the stock manifold of the vmax? Is it necessary to control ignition with the Haltech 'puter? For someone keeping their max stock-ish and not adding nos or turbo, controlling ignition may not necessary (or would it?). Oh, I looked at Haltech's website and they have the E8 listed as a "previous product" and not a current one. Their E6X looks to be roughly equivalent and the F10X is what I am talking about when I asked about saving some complexity and money in not controlling ignition. Pardon me if I am wrong in any of this info, just trying to help. I would like to help in some way but I "don't got skillz" when it comes to machining and the like.
