Last time I visited Alaska, they had a big can of spray that reached out about 30 feet. I watched a video of it in use against a huge Brown Bear. The bear dropped to and rolled around on the ground. Totally lost interest of protecting it's territory and calmly walked away after the encounter. What it was, I don't remember...:confused2:

I mainly just thought the pic was funny, that stuff does work but if the bear has a cub nearby then I doubt it would help much....

Yes, and the politicians all have body guards armed with the very guns we may be barred from,,,Hmmm.:bang head:

Here is a video of a bear w/ cub charging a cameraman. He had a gun and one shot deterred even this fearsome charge, I'm not sure this would be the same in all cases. The bear usually give a "bluff" charge to gauge the threat, but if you stumble upon the bear in a close proximty the bluff charge may not be there. One thing is to never do is turn your back or run, if you do the attack is on for sure!

I agree Dave, they want the general public to be obediant and dependant, with a criminal element to keep us running to the goverment protectors! Not a future I want and will fight to protect against this goverment crackdown!
I reupped to the NRA (JOIN HERE) but instead of yearly I went with the 5 year option. I also joined MCRGO or Michigan Coalition of Responsible Gun Owners for the first time. My older brother is a member and said I should join but it slipped my mind until Scott's FB post about joining nudged me into joining. They are a strong organization and one of the "largest state based firearm advocates in America".

Money well spent in my opinion, I'm sure most of my friends are tired of hearing my rants on there so I've been trying to scale it back a bit the past few days LOL I'm sure once legislation is actually introduced formally then I'll be back at it strong again!! :punk:

Not me....I'm done!! Gonna turn in my CCW and see if I can apply for registered sex offender status.....those guys are treated way better than us!! :hmmm:

ya but now that you let the cat our of the bag im not sure you will be getting the good treatment man :bang head:

August 29, 2005, was a day no American will ever forget. When Hurricane Katrina, one of the top five-strongest storms ever to build in the Atlantic Basin, slammed into the city of New Orleans, her towering storm surge tested the limits of the flood walls and levees protecting one of America’s largest cities. The surge would find them lacking.
As the city filled and drowned, it descended into mass hysteria and anarchy, and within hours became a place that would reveal to Americans whether their Constitution had any more value than the frayed, fragile, brown parchment on which it is written.
As looters and thugs took over, the city’s leaders turned their crosshairs and iron sights toward the lawful, gun-toting citizens who sought nothing more than to defend themselves from the marauding hordes. In what proved to be the greatest real-life test case of the Second Amendment in American history, America failed miserably.
The Great New Orleans Gun Grab tells the story of New Orleans residents who legally defied mandatory evacuation orders to protect their property, and who were subsequently beaten, harassed and robbed of their guns by the very civil authority that was funded and charged to protect them.

Those two ladies in Texas are most likely and deservedly will get a huge payout from Texas DPS. At least I hope they do.......

Thing was, a search can be performed in Texas on only a few conditions I know of;
1. You are asked and give your permission
2. Your arrested already arrested or grounds for arrest already exist.
3. Obvious probable cause.....I dunno know if "your car smells like pot" is probable cause, typically if that's the case the LEO's will call in the dogs to obtain probable cause and then execute the search.

I watched that video, it turned my stomach to see tghat kind of 3rd world LEO behaviour, and it's a effin' shame.
Back in the day DPS use to be the most elite and profesional of LEO's. Those two turds (the LEO's) should get to spend a couple days in Huntsville getting some good ole' "eye for an eye" justice....

I've refused vehicle search twice in my life, when I knew there was absolutely nothing questionable that could send me to jail. It pisses them off but if there follwing the rules there's nothing more they can do...

Yes SO's have part of their probation that they can own or use a computer. Of course that prevents them from getting a job

I know because you see my son is an SO. He dated a girl with ID saying she was 18 (they went many places that required ID) They dated for 3 months. One day her grandmother walked in on them (in her home). Even though she she told everyone that she this was far from Rape, he got 9 to 25 years, will have to wear a tether for the rest of his life and pay the state $650 a month for the tether, and there can't even be computers in the house.

I can't even imagine how many people out there had sex when they were in high school, a whole lot of it with girls that hadn't reached the age of consent (When I was in high school I never asked for ID). There is a LOT of kids in inside just like him, but they are treated just like the guy that grabs a girl off the street.

That is not justice, but since when does the Gov. give a rats ass about justice?? BTW, since you brought it up, how old was she?
