Is it possible to disable front directionals as running lights?!?

Loving the my new vmax but still adding a few touches here and there to truly make her mine. Does anyone now how to disable the front directionals as running lights and keep them as turn signals only? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Just unplug the blue wires inside the headlight bucket (for gen 1's anyway)
