Hi,

Starting a fuel injection project with Maxxecu Mini. It should speak oddfire as well. No specific time schedule.

My first step is the fuel pump. There is only limited amount of space available, so I decided to install it into gas tank.
Let see how it goes.

Little customizing as well. A sleeve for the Ford’s legendary teardrop tail light

Damn, compression height is only 1.5mm taller but those valve pockets are perhaps too close to center of the piston to machine them.

Some sheet metal works before the parts goes to bodyshop. Let’s modify those foot pegs at the same time. Originals are quite clumsy and heavy.

Tour De Luxe differential from the states. Sold as working condition.
That was boldly said. Gear hardly turn around and there was metal debris within the oil. Return and refund.

Used 85mm piston set arrived. Some minor dents but nothing fatal. Next step is to manufacure proper cylinder sleeves from the core cos’ ”ready, set, go!” -versions are way too expensives for my budged.

Nothing is more difficult than welding an old gas tank. Leak free at last. At least it should be treated with acid inside before starting. To be continued..

Looks good! I`d also want to do something like that with my EFI, or an inline one without return. Does it include a regulator and do you know the pressure (PSI) it`s set to?

Keep up the great work! :)

Hi!

Damn, I didn't even think that the pressure regulator could also be integrated into the tank unit 😅! Going to use the same Honda VFR throttle bodies as you do. Not decided the intake manifold style yet. As low as possible would be the best option if I need some space to the pressure housing somewhere in the future.
