Add $600 plus for cams to the ebay heads (if everything else is good) . I'd look for complete heads for a little more. Ones that haven't been taken apart. Have the caps been put back in the same order? IMHO.

They built it with the 1198cc engine since that is also what they had in the venture at that time. They should have upped it to 1300cc when the 86 venture came out with it. That would have helped keep it the fastest bike for another year.
