no power on take off

I rebuilt my carbs with needles and jets from all balls racing. I synced it perfectly on all 4 carbs. Started up very easily but on take it it wants to die until it catches and then it takes off like a rocket. Does anyone have any suggestions. 90,170 and I forgot what the main was but there all factory settings. I also have a full 4-1 Kerker set up.

First rule of diagnosis: Go over and re-check the last thing you did.
Purely a guess but do you have one or more main and pilot jet(s) swapped?

Going to a 150 or 147.5 Mikuni main may help.

Behavior was like my bike when I bought it. Had a plugged pilot jet.

Since you just rebuilt the carbs, is the tank clean? Confirm the size of the new pilot jets?
