Mine are colored titanium, the color has stayed pretty well, a bit of fade right at the heads.. normally spray them with windex or brake cleaner to keep them looking nice..

You know you can get colored carbon sleeves, i thought about sending mine to HMF , use the over inlets,outlets,inner baffle,and name plate..

Yes remove that bolt at the outlet, thats only an insert,,, one of mine came right out, the other i had to work a bit,,, but they do come out.. Its an interference fit,,, i got a piece of 1/8 stock bent it like a coat hanger, worked it from the inside, for sure you will have a bit more soundunk:

A good really black carbon will make it look even better.

That is a great sounding exhaust! Your bike is looking good too, lots of nice details!
Just want to mention though, there is a washer on where the stock exhaust can mounts (can be seen in 06112009052.jpg) that can fall out if it is like mine. You may have it secured in some way but just thought I'd throw it out there.
