If you haven't already, the best $35 - $40 investment you will make for your bike is a shop manual, either OEM or aftermarket.
Even if you don't like to wrench yourself, having a manual available for whoever does the work-perhaps even a dealership for another brand of bike - can potentially save a lot of time, guessing and frustration. The manual is the first thing I pack, when preparing for a trip.
