This should come as no surprise. The liberals know no bounds when it comes to reducing individual rights. Where are the gays ( as a group ) , standing to protest this sort of invasion on their rights ? If they come out in unison , they will probably roll over and give them an exemption.

I'm all for lunatics not having guns but seriously come on.. the problem is not having insane asylums anymore they just drug everyone up and push them on the streets.. cuomo will have a wide awakening soin I think.. after the senate didn't pass a universal background check nor an assault weapon ban I think the supreme court cases have a lot of firing power now

:clapping::clapping::clapping: It Didn't Make It.... This Time....:confused2:

A look at how each senator voted on the Manchin-Toomey amendment to expand background checks for gun purchases. The measure fell short of the 60 votes needed to move forward.

I respect John Mc Cain for his service to the country. However , I feel it is time for him to retire . He no longer has the best interests of his party or the country at the forefront of his agenda. I cannot understand his thinking on this issue.

The angered look on POTUS' face during the news briefs yesterday after the defeat - PRICELESS! The words spewing from his mouth - WORTHLESS!

Too many liberals are up for election in '14 . They know it would be a death knell for them , politically speaking , to vote for / stand up for ........... wait for them..........

Gay Marriage

Immigration

Gun Control

IRS Unending Regulations

Health Care 15,000 Pages

They understand if you bombard the useful idiots and the low information voters and the gov't money recepiants , you will receive their support almost unconditionally , and the ones who actually work and are forced to support these boondoggles , even if they don't agree or understand them , they can't fight but so many at a time. Therefore , like Gov't Healthcare , " we must pass it , to find out what is in it " . Nancy Freaking Pelosi They will pass it , knowing the damn thing will be unmanageable . Bo knows it too. He's just waiting for all of it to blow up , according to plan , where he can demand single payer Health Care for all . His ultimate goal.

P.S. Don't be surprised if he declares martial law when we ultimately REVOLT .

Thanks Dave, very usefull info. I'm writing to the nay in my state now. The Supreme Court
will hopefully see the will of the people and start ruling against the anti-American liberals. A small but positive victory has been won. Maybe a few more defeats will put this all in prospective and the powers that be will move on to all the back burner issues ignored. Political suicide might be the deciding factor. I'm weary of the non voters, but better than a nay.

Yeah, as he nodded his head to a speech being given by a civilian from Newtown....I wonder what it's costing the taxpayers to drag those people around so they can perform like trained seals....Jesus man, leave 'em alone so they can get back to their life!

He was not this angry after Benghazi , Sandy Hook , Fast & Furious , etc . where our people died. He was angry because his party did not tow the line he drew for them. He wanted the Senate to pass it so badly ' cause he knew the House would not and he could take that to the '14 election in order to blame the Republicans / House , in order to take it back to Democrap rule. That's why he was so angry period.

Maybe it was anger because the Senators that voted against it acted like cowards. Maybe his reaction was not political but emotional. I really don't know because I know that I can't read people's minds.

Everything he has done in office has been calculated and political . He knows nothing else.

For once senators stood up for individual liberty and not caved to the powers that be, they didn't act like cowards they were simply listening to their constitutes... We all can read your mind just fine and I'll say it again in case you missed it the first time, go play in traffic you tool....

The government tools just need to start enforcing the laws that they have already, not this bleeding heart liberal ******** they tried to pass. If the Senators knew that 80% of the people wanted this they would have passed it.
The reality is that BO and his political dunces lied about what the people wanted.:damn angry:
If anybody believed them and thought it was true then they are idiotic as I think they are!:rofl_200:

Absolutely right BB, they lied, plain & simple! BO tried the same ******** that Cuomo pulled here in NY....charge it with plenty of emotion & drama making it very difficult for anyone to vote against it....then ram it thru!

I'd like to think that the Senators who stood up to the pressure (which was considerable) did so because they realized what was happening, that this is ridiculous legislation and won't reduce violence or protect anyone. The reality, unfortunately, is probly that they were simply worried about their job security in the next election.

As BO said...."in the end, it came down to politics...."

Uh Barry....what is your job description again :ummm: Don't worry son, you still have time....the next disaster is looming large.

Hey Dave, did you see how they handled the Boston Marathon suspects? They sent guys with guns out, shot & killed one, so far....and soon they will get the other one too.

They didn't start ramming legislation thru requiring background checks to buy pressure cookers or limit the size to 5 liter max....they hunted them down!!

As it should be! :punk:
