Thick gold metalflake! Oh, like, wow, man, I'm having ...flashbacks, but I can't quite recall about what...what were we talking about, man?

Your bike will be channelling an even earlier timeframe w/that finish, it will look like a Bay Area '60's/early '70's 'frisco chopper! After all that's when & where the 'Billy Bike' and 'Wyatt's Ride' were built.

I like it! But I'm sure someone will have something negative to say. I always do what I like, I don't care if nobody else in the world likes it. And if I see something I don't like I just won't comment. Other than if it's just a random picture and not someones personal ride. It's easy to be critical but I just think it's heartless to rip apart someones hard work. Some people here have no problem putting others bikes down. But I try to respect others feelings. TO EACH HIS OWN. if everyone loved one color or style it would be one boring ass world. Keep up the good work bro, and like I said before, I like it. Ed

ok made a more descent test with the color. as you can see half base is black half silver. shot the hok flakes clear coated. oven . 600 sandpaper then clear coat again then oven ... again. sand paper 600 again ..anyway 4 times this procedure. then shot the mix yello-orange candy and then cleared it again. the flakes sparkle a LOT. the think is i cant decide too shoot a large ammount of flakes so the black base cannot be seen or less flakes so to make contrast with the black base. i like both and i have fried my mind with this . in the video it looks prety the same but in the eye is noticeable the difference with less flakes and with lots of flakes. this time i shot 2 layers of the candy and took more orange look tha the previous video i posted.

the second video in this is with one layer of kandy

+1 on the silver base. Probably because it is closer to my paint. :biglaugh:

The dark base looks like a shot from the Hubble Telescope aimed into interstellar space, very 3-D.

The light base looks like a space shot looking at the prominences erupting from the roiling surface of a star's surface, sized like our sun.

Underway, it's going to look fantastic with either choice. Why don't you try a top surface with the light base and fading to the dark base the closer you get to the ground?

a droplet of heptane, burning in microgravity. Looks like a Haight-Ashbury 1960's rock & roll poster by Mouse, or Rick Griffin, or maybe some pop art by Peter Max!

Andromeda Galaxy, like the Milky Way, a spiral. #217

I think this last one has coloration of both samples shown to us, depending on at what point you view it. Pretty-good paint as someone used several hundred million stars to match the paint!

He he... been down that road... Different colors but same finish... looks cool in the sun doesn't it? Old school kinda paint job...

ok guys i am now very confused..... LOL i like both bases but i think i will go with the dark one cause i want to match with rest of the bike that all components will be chromed. from triple trees forks all engine covers swing arm master cylinders stabilizer but you never now. next week i will have everything installed on my bike so i will make the filnal decesion.... this week it will feel like a whole year. F..K

You just can't have to much chrome. I can hardly wait to see the finished product.

the engine in the end of september should be ready. this weekend the body parts are going to be painted with the new color. i cant wait to finish the bike cause lot of personal work and many hours spend on it. i wish the result will be the one i have in my mind. , today i was very happy to see my chromed frond end installed on my bike. all pieces are coming together time to time. i am waiting for my engine which in my predictions should be at least 20 hp more than my previous. the changes will be the compresion ratio , web cams , 4-1 exhaust system , and i dont know the right term but i hope you will understand. i will have all the engine balanced rods-pistons- e.t.c. my previous engine made on the dyno 142.7 hp. i would love to see 160 hp +

my modified mega scoops slightly finished , needs some work.
