No he didnt. The group is used to passing and such. Coming down that hill is where we slow down and stop to group back up. Everyone holds there line. The on coming bike was plenty visible, they see each other coming. If two bikes dont have enough room to pass each other in a wide lane with shoulders then theres something wrong.

Well Im getting up now to suit up and head out there on the R1 this morning.

RIDE ON.

I got this in my E-Mail this morning. I'd rather ride a bike 300 mph... NFW would I climb that tower...

Same here Dave! I'm part Native American and I've heard that we're supposed to do well at heights, but I'm here to tell you that I would never be able to climb that tower! Inside I might OK at that height but outside/ free climbing I'm sure I'd have a heart attack!!!
Most likely the fear of heights is just the sensible Scottish blood (50%) in me telling me to stay on good 'ol terra firma and have a nice drink of single malt scotch!!

This was on my first drag track day.
My 4th pass of the day at the Dirty mo's 1/8 mile (Moorisville NC)
against a GSXR1000 that I've beat on the last run (he had a bad start, worst then my 0.3).
This time I wanted to check launch at 4K rpm but gave it gas before releasing the clutch all the way.
Another problem was my hooligan instinct wanting to ride the wheelie out, I had to restrain myself and get the front back down to get back in the race.
This is what happened:

I got a lesson and will apply next track day.
