went to go drain the oil (was gonna give it 24 hours) but forgot my drain pan. oh well i'll drain tomorrow and maybe take a peak at the clutch.

put my new lugnuts on. thoughts!? i have blue, black and red ones as well to try out.

I like them looks great on the bike - would like to see the red ones

Mike

Works good Brian....I broke it on the mounting phase....cheesy welding which I had repaired and beefed up. Now it's fine. The bench-top static balancer works great too. Or, I think it does....the ice from the last storm has me hiding out in the shop....gonna be there till BR11! :biglaugh:

I like 'em Garrett....not used to chrome on your bike but they look great! :biglaugh:

Ditto to Red.....

G, I like the chrome nuts for the diff. Are those just some lugnuts from the autoparts store?
The lugnuts look good Garrett!:punk:
I'm w/ Danny, chrome, on your bike? :biglaugh:
I wondering about the red like Mike and Dave. :thumbs up:
Like Mike wondered, are they just from the local autoparts store?:ummm:

Search ebay for 10mm lugnuts they'll come up. Quick shipping and u get 16 with your order. Don't have the link on me as I'm out and about. I put the red ones on but the tapatalk upload isn't working.

thnx redbone.

just gotta get red pivot caps on there and we'll be all set!

ya know what i'd love? black chrome, but morley let me know its not as durable.

what might work tho is flat black with chrome sticker inserts.

I painted them flat top half, gloss lower with red lacquer letters. Flat with chrome inserts would work too.

I must express concern however....what's this sudden attraction you seem to have for 'the shine'? :ummm: Not leaving the 'dark side' are you? :rofl_200:

nah my scoops have always looked like crap. the 'polished aluminum' from the factory looks like shit and gets bugs and crap on it too easily. i like a no fuss situation, unlike the HD guys i'd rather ride her than clean her.

quite the contrary, i'd rather ride her than clean her!

:rofl_200:

hahaha, he's still with us, maybe just a bit more 'sophisticated'!

:surprise::ummm::confused2:

i see how that works, you plant a seed in others to p/c black and then flip to the other side...... thanks again MM helper, thanks.....oh ya just sent more parts out to get .......black P/C :punk::punk:

Picked up a new set of skins for the V-65, plan on saving the $50 mount and balance cost by doing it myself, going the Dynabead route because of what I've read on here......................Tom.
