Finished up the Clutch install on a buddy's R1.

Started my 89....:rofl_200:
I'm Amazed I can just do that.....

Put the headlights & brake lines on on Agent orange.

Reminds me of all those 1960's Italian actresses, dunno why...

I was thinking of going to a big 7" pie-plate headlight. I always liked that look on my KZ1000's.

Kyle, what 'ears' are those? I just borrowed a hard-copy of my friend's Parts Unlimited catalog to look at stuff like that.

Got a jacket this style-color for < Mcy. Superstore price because it was dirty. Washed it soon as I got home, 'good as new!' check out all the front vents: 4 in the chest, 2 @ clavicles, 1 across the scapulae & a fanny storage compartment you can also leave open! Zip out quilted liner. PM me w/your phone # if you want to see of the store has any left, it's a shop going under. Probably about $135 shipped lower 48 (I would be shipping)

They will not ship & no returns. If this needs to be in another heading, moderator please move it.

The ears are off Ebay I will try & find the link again. Is your friend a parts unlimeted dealer ? If not I can get decent deal thru Pu.

Yeah, thanks, Kyle he is a Parts U. dealer. I haven't bought a 7" headlight yet, I saw one discounted at a local outlet but didn't buy it & when I went back there today, it was gone. It was a closeout, so they aren't going to have any more @ that price.

I like the Triumph Speed Triple look, some call it the 'preying mantis,' I dunno, but I think it would look good on a VMax. I think I would look at a set of lamps which were a bit lower-profile front-to-back than what you are sporting, but yours are a good look too. I haven't been to a showroom to see them on a new Tri., but I think they may fasten at the bottom, similar to what the VMax uses.

I also like the UK aluminum twin headlight pods/bugcatcher combo (Cyber-Max, I think), but I don't want to spend that right now. Is the firm Exactrep? I guess that unless I got a good deal searching a parts breaker the cost of two housings, the bezels, two lights/bulbs, & the 'ears' would probably push between $2-300. Maybe I should just save my $ if I like the Cyber-Max that much until I can get one.

If you like the Cybermax just wait. This set up ended up being about $ 225 I was very unsure of it when the customer wanted it but I really like it now. It looks much better in person with all the other Carbon looking bits & pieces I added to the bike.

OK, I'm game, what do you have in-mind?

I've probably got 50+ different headlight designs available. You can download the catalog from www.midwest-mc.com and then email me for a price check on any you find interesting. The catalog is HUGE though so make sure you have a good connection to download with!

Thanks, Sean, I will look @ them on my DSL later. Do you have any special bracket fabbed for a Speed Triple-style dual headlight array?

No special brackets we've made. I've never bothered with a different headlight other then the MT03 we installed on the reaper build (which is very similar to the 09). We did chrome one of the Cybermax lights for a guy on here. Turned out nicely.

Haven't changed anything. Still haven't mounted the voltmeter in the instument cluster. I'll take care of that next month after finals are over with.

I did walk around the bike thinking of changing the colors. Then a friend of mine came up with a good idea for a great color. Deoxiginated blood red.

Nice dark red with a tint of purple. So this fall when the riding season is over, its up on the lift and all the body parts will be removed and painted.

After digging out my old paint brushes and what-not I found my airbrush and pinstriping brushes. Now after school I'm going to practive a little to know off the ring rust and after the paint, this picture will be airbrushed, and blended on the; faux, and "cracking lava" accents will addorn the bellypan, side panels, tail piece and the scoops.

Other then that plan the monkey have been nice a quiet :eusa_dance:
