Delivered Redbone to it's new winter storage location 50 miles from me. It's in a insulated building but in an area that is not directly heated which should keep it ~ 40 degrees. I'll have a heated area to work on it if needed but no modding is planned over the winter. :surprise:

DANG!! It hit 84` here today and at 837 its still 75, I feel for you guys up north. We get hella hot summers down here but the difference in the riding seasons make it worth it.

Still getting some riding in up here yet!...........Weather has been very nice for Nov with highs in the 50s.......Above average temps predicted for the next week or so yet, going to enjoy it all I can.....................Tom.

Really sad for those of you who have to store your bikes over the winter. Our prime riding season is here now. I need to replace the O-Ring on SkullDuggery's coolant drain. Gotta take the #4 carb apart and clear the idle circuit. Bike should be GTG, Kyle's gonna put it through a few drag strip runs next trip to better see how much PO Modding had been done to the motor... I have my fingers crossed about that.. It's gotta beat his baseline with Christine's 85 of 11.58 / 114 mph in the quarter...

I probably could ride, maybe even today, but I'm haven't been in the mood with too much other stuff distracting my mind and time.

What do you have planned for this year Bill? I've been checking out PCW's site and thinking...

I was at pcw this past summer Ed...
A built motor is high on my list, but i gotta save my :twocents::twocents::twocents:

I ordered a polished R1 inverted front end from coo, sean is fixing my clear stator cover, Danny is going to rebuild my carbs for me, also getting a few things chromed and powder coated.

Probably going to have a few things for sale soon from my old front end if anyone is interested..
~polished superbrace~
~R1 caliper brackets~
~galfer 3 line front brake kit~

(all for early model vmax forks)
I'm not selling these till i make sure everything works out on my new front end

Hey Brian, It's understandable giving your current events. Nice thing about Redbone is, it will be there for you when your ready.

Mike

Rode around for an hour. Stopped by a friends and ordered some 20/50w and some 75/90 w Amsoil. Think I'm going to need a new battery for next season. Anybody using a lithium ion Shorai?

I rode for the past three days including tonight been unusually warm here so far. But like I said I'm checking out PCW'S motor work but not sure about this winter for that. I actually do have a list started for MORE chrome including frame plates( middle gear cover) and rear brake actuator area as well as knee plates, flames in the scoops ( to match the rad) and a few other things. We'll see...
